Biohum® is a bio-fertilizer, odorless, crumbly and slightly crumbly product of worm composting. It is not subject to putrefaction processes and at the same time retains the properties of a "living" product. Biohum contains no harmful substances, no pathogens and weed seeds. This product improves the physical properties of the soil, the soil becomes friable, does not compact and does not form a compact top layer, thus improving the water permeability of the soil. The microbiological analysis shows that the organic fertilizer is rich in useful microorganisms and enzymes that enrich the soil, thereby improving plant nutrition. Potted flowers : When planting flowers in pots, a mixture of biohumus and garden soil in a ratio of 1:2 is used. If peat is available, a mixture of biohumus, soil and peat in a ratio of 1:1:1 can be used.

Fertilizing potted flowers : Remove the top layer of soil and add 3-4 tbsp Biohumus for medium-sized pots. Return the soil and water abundantly. Repeat this treatment every 2-3 months. Foliar fertilization and watering Use a water solution of Biohumus by adding 200-300 ml of Biohumus to 1 liter of water and letting the mixture stand for 36-48 hours. Sieve the solution and use for watering or foliar spraying.

Garden flowers : In early spring, the garden soil is fertilized with 200-300 ml of biohumus per square meter and then dug up. Planting outdoors Enter 50-100 ml of biohumus per plant in the plant bed, cover with soil and water. If necessary, additionally fertilize with 50-100 ml per plant. Preparation of seedlings Prepare a solution of biohumus and water in a volume ratio of 1:1. Leave the solution for 48 hours stirring regularly. After the solution has settled, sieve it. Soak the seeds and bulbs in the extract for 4 hours. Leave to dry. Plant after 48 hours. When growing vegetables outdoors, the following quantities are put into the planting bed.

For tomatoes: 100 ml per plant For peppers: 50 ml per plant For cucumbers: 200 ml per plant Vegetable fertilization: Prepare a solution of biohumus and water in a volume ratio of 1:10. Leave the solution for 48 hours. Sieve and fertilize with 200 ml per plant. Fruit trees, grapes and roses 1.5 - 2 liters Biohumus per root and 300-400 ml per vine. To fertilize fruit trees in the root area, apply 1 to 3 liters of Biohumus around the trunk depending on the age and size of the tree. For grapes, bushes and roses - 0.5 to 1.5 liters of biohumus. Dig in with the soil after fertilizing.

Lawn area : When building lawns, 200-250 ml of biohumus per square meter are entered and dug up together with the soil. Add 100-150 ml Biohumus per square meter after each mowing and water generously. The product can be used for organic farming, according to regulation: EEC 834/2007

Way of Use

For Raising Plants: When planting owers in pots, a mixture of biohumus and garden soil in a ratio of 1:2 is used. In case some turf is available, the mixture could be of biohumus, soil and turf in ratio of 1:1:1.
For Feeding Up Potted Plants : A part of the upper layer of the soil is taken away and 3 to 4 table spoons of biohumus per an average pot are added. After that, the soil is returned on top and the pot is irrigated abundantly with water. This is repeated every 2-3 months.
For Feeding up Leaves and irrigation : Water solution of biohumus is used. It is received by mixing between 200 and 300 ml of the biohumus with 1 liter of water, and the mixture is left to settle between 36 and 48 hours. After that the water is strained and used for irrigation of the pot or for sprinkling the leaves.
For growing flowers in a Garden: Early in spring, the soil is fertilized with biohumus in a dose of 200-300 ml per sq m, after which the land is dug anew.
For Planting In the Open air: From 50 to 100 ml per plant are applied in the bed, which is covered with soil and irrigated after that. If necessary, it is fed up additionally with from 50 to 100 ml per plant.
For Growing Seedlings : A water solution of biohumus is prepared in a volume ratio of 1:1. The solution is left to settle for 48 hours and is stirred periodically, and it is strained after the settlement. The seeds and the bulbs to be sown are soaked in the extract for 4 hours. After that they are left to dry and are sown after 48 hours.
For Growing Vegetables In The Open, It Is Applied In The Beds in The Following Rates:

  • For tomatoes – 100 ml per plant
  • For peppers – 50 ml per plant
  • For cucumbers – 200 ml per plant

For Feeding Up Vegetables : A water solution of biohumus is prepared in a volume ratio of 1:10. The solution is left to settle for 48 hours. It is strained. The vegetables are fed up in a rate of 200 ml per plant.
For Fruit-trees, Vines, Bushes and roses : From 1.5 to 2 l of biohumus per root, and between 300 and 400 ml per piece for a vine stick. For feeding up fruit-trees, the area of the roots abound the trunk are irrigated with 1 to 3 liters, depending on the age and size of the tree. For vines, bushes and roses – from 0.5 to 1.5 liters of biohumus are applied, after which the soil is dug again.
For Grass Areas: When grass areas are created, from 200 to 250 ml per square meter are applied and the soil is dug anew. After each mowing, the grass is additionally fed up with 100-150 ml of biohumus per square meter and is irrigated abundantly.

Recommended Scheme of Application
  1. Treatment of seeds or seedlings
  2. Initial fertigation on leaf 2-4
  3. Application after minimum of 10 days
  4. Application prior to anthesis or fruiting

The good results are subject to the observation of the appropriate stages of the vegetation when applying Aminobest and Biobest(see spraying schemes complying with the plant growth stages)

Standards for application

Seed treatment – seeds are soaked for 3-4 hours in a solution of 70 ml fertilizer and 1 liter of water (working solution ~ 7% v/v):
For leguminous and large-seeded plants – 100 g of seed in 800-1000 ml working solution
For small-seeded plants – 100 g of seed in 500 ml working solution

Treatment of seedlings
Vegetables – 1-2 hours in a solution of 70 ml fertilizer and 1 liter of water /other option before planting: 4–5 days prior to pricking out – 5% solution, 70-90 ml per pot/
Perennials – 9-10 hours in a solution of 90 ml Biohum and 1 liter of water (working solution ~ 9% v/v)

Treatment of mushrooms : 4-5% solution

Application on leaves /spraying/:
200-250 ml on 1 daa in the appropriate stages of vegetables, cereals and legumes, tobacco, potatoes, water melons, melons, pumpkins, curative plants and spices, owers, forage plants and lawns.
Recommended working solution 15-20 l

250-300 ml on 1 daa for perennials. Recommended working solution

  • approx. 25 l. For bush fruits – approx. 250 ml/daa at working solution
  • approx. 20 l

Watering or drip irrigation
1.5 l – 1,8 l for one ton of water for Biobest and 1,2 l – 1,5 l for one ton of water for Aminobest; working solution consumption – 5 l per linear meter, watering near the root and not directly onto the plant. Biobest and Aminobest are compatible with all pesticides and it is desirable to be used together with the pesticides as it relieves the plant from the stress upon the direct contract with the chemical substances. When using the fertilizer together with pesticides the working solution should be prepared as follows: the pesticide solution must be prepared rst and the required quantity of liquid fertilizer is to be added subsequently.
