- How does Entero-Chronic act?
α- Glucan Butyrogenic produce butyrate in the animal’s intestines, which is the principal energy substrate for the colonocytes, facilitating epithelial renewal and repair.
MPS Protect may reinforce the mucins that cover the intestinal surface, preventing pathogenic bacteria from adhering to the intestinal mucous.
β-Glucans and MOS are the specific substrate for beneficial bacteria and improve their viability as opposed to pathogenic microorganisms. MOS has been shown to be capable of neutralizing food toxins and facilitating their excretion.
- Instructions for use of Entero-Chronic
Entero-Chronic® is recommended to support dogs and cats in cases of long-term intestinal disorders, such as those which can occur with prolonged administration of antibiotics or drugs, or due to other reasons.
Entero-Chronic is a complementary food which can be administered orally, 1 time per day, from 30 days to 6 months. The product may be sprinkled directly on the animal’s food. In the case the animal eats more than once per day, the sachets can be distributed over its daily meals.
