Biplantol® Plus

1 of 1 products in this brand
Biplantol® Plus is a homeopathic biological rapid converter for liquid manure, manure, compost and bark. Biplantol® Plus serves to accelerate the homogenization of cattle and pig manure and other excrement, as well as to improve the decomposition of manure and compost. It provides significant odor reduction, better liquefaction of liquid manure (homogenization) and less work in the barn.

Functions: Animal Residue Decomposer

Composition

Homeopathic-dynamised complex agent containing in potentised form (D6-D100) the minerals potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphor and vital trace elements such as boron, germanium, copper; manganese and uronic acids (plant mucilage) among others.

Features & Benefits

Effects
  • Significant odor reduction.
  • Better liquefaction of the manure due to faster decomposition of the solids (= homogenization).
  • Chemical burns on plants and soil organisms (e.g. earthworms) when spreading the liquid manure are avoided.
  • Better growth is immediately visible.
  • Improves the homogeneity and flowability of the liquid manure.
  • Up to 100% savings in non-farm fertilizer.
  • Better fodder quality in fields treated with Biplantol® Plus manure.
  • Less work in the barn with regular use.
Treated Liquid Manure Is Added Value

The liquid manure is alive, during storage there are almost no sinking or floating layers. The manure can be stirred up easily. Slurry treated with Biplantol® Plus is significantly less odorous and more compatible with plants. This means that it can also be applied to growing crops. The treated manure delivers nutrients to where they are needed, in the upper layers of the soil where crops are rooted.

  • Suitable for organic cultivation.
  • Complies with the EU organic regulation.
  • No side effects on humans, beneficial organisms and the ecosystem when used as intended and properly.
  • Bees, beneficial insects and other insects are not affected.
How It Works

Biplantol® Plus is an active ingredient activator produced purely on a biological and biochemical basis in a homeopathically dynamic form that is absolutely non-toxic. With this product, the activation of liquid manure or microorganisms in compost, manure or bark, which are biocatalytic in the enzymatic conversion process, is achieved and completed more quickly. This stimulates both aerobic and anaerobic bacterial strains to increase cell division, which is crucial for homogenization and nitrogen binding. The nutrients are available to the plants more quickly due to the earlier mineralization, while the nitrogen bonds are chemically bound via bacterial functions and are thus largely protected from premature leaching from the soil.

Mode of Functioning

Biplantol® Plus is a pure biologic biochemical activation agent that supports the microorganisms in the manure, dung, compost or bark and promotes increased cell division. Both aero- bic and anaerobic bacteria are activated to increased cell division whereby an improved homogenisation, odor reduction and nitrogen fixation is achieved. The nutrients of the refined manure are more plant compatible. Less bacteria bound nitrogen is washed out of the soil.

Applications & Uses

Application and Dosage

There are three types of application methods for manure.

Combination Method:

  • For untreated manure: add 1 liter of Biplantol® Plus per 10 m³ of manure in the pit and flushing trench.
  • Thereafter, add weekly 10 ml of per LSU* in 10 liters of lukewarm water and dispense in the gutter or flushing trench (canister screw cap equivalent to 25 ml for 2.5 LSU in 10 liters of water).

Field application can follow after 3 weeks of initial treatment.

If a residual amount of the activated manure remains in the pit after emptying the pit, a weekly application of Biplantol® Plus via the flushing trenches as described above suffices.

10 liters of Biplantol® Plus can refine up to 500 m³ of manure by using combination method.

Feeding Method:

  • For untreated manure: add 1 liter of Biplantol® Plus per 10 m³ of manure in the pit and flushing trench.
  • Thereafter, add daily 1.5 ml per LSU in the fodder or water trough.

This method has been proven successful over many years in Switzerland.

Direct Method:

  • Add 1 liter of Biplantol® Plus per 10 m³ of manure in the pit and flushing trench.

Thus 10 liters of Biplantol® Plus suffice for up to 100 m³ of manure.

A waiting period of at least 3 weeks is recommended before field application.

New Liquid Manure Pit - When taking a new manure pit into operation, empty first 3 to 4 barrels of liquid manure into the pit.

Closed Liquid Manure Pit - Oxygen is necessary for the decomposition of manure. Without oxygen the manure starts to putrefy. Please assure that there is sufficient air intake into the pit (e.g. two opposing grates or several holes in the concrete roof).

For Bedding

Application in the shed, pen, stable:

In the shed, pen or stable the application has proven successful when used on the bedding.

  • After clearing away the dung spray the entire area using 5 ml of Biplantol® Plus in 1 liter of water on 10m².
  • Spray the fresh dung layer 1 x per week using 20 ml of Biplantol® Plus in 200 ml of water.

Dung, Compost and Bark Composting

  • Water or spray 20 ml of Biplantol® Plus per 1 m³ uniformly.
  • Depending on the moisture of the material mix thoroughly in 5 liters of water
  • Build-up in layers: Mix 50 ml of Biplantol® Plus in 10 liters of water and dispense uniformly over a 20 cm thick layer of dung, compost or bark layer per 10 - 15 m².

Up to 500 m³ can be treated using 10 liters of Biplantol® Plus.

Technical Details & Test Data

Test Data

Tests carried out by the LVVG Aulendorf in 1996 revealed a significant improvement in flow behavior by adding 100 ml/m³ to cattle manure, and the root growth of cress seedlings improved compared to the control variant without the addition.
