BioStar’s patented technologies include the concentration of nitrogen into a liquid fertilizer product derived from the effluent waste of the anaerobic digestion process. Soil Health
Soils are the foundation of both natural and agricultural systems, and therefore soil health of foundational importance for life on our planet. Healthy soils are more efficient at holding and releasing water, nutrients, and allowing for optimal crop production while reducing heavy carbon footprint inputs.
BioStar’s technology allows for better usage and recycling of nutrients from manures that when overapplied can damage soil health.

Meeting Demand for Organic Food
The global population continues to rise and there is more demand than ever for sustainability in agriculture. Our products help farmers gain efficiencies and ultimately, grow more of their crop. Sales of organic produce rose 14.2% in 2020, compared to 10.7% for conventional produce.
- Bi-Products of our Organic Fertilizer Process
Clean Water: For every 100,000 gallons of manure treated, BioStar’s proprietary process gives back 78,000 gallons of clean water that can be recycled back into the farming system to irrigate crops or feed livestock. In some instances, BioStar obtains discharge permits allowing the clean water to be released into a local body of water or stream.
This process allows for nutrients to be returned to farm fields without damaging the environment or riparian systems, all while reducing operational farm costs.
Compostable Fiber: Between 10% and 20% of the feedstock input to our system comes out in the form of solids. These solids have valuable nutrients embedded in them and can be transferred and/or sold to nearby composting facilities.
SuperSix™ Organic Liquid Fertilizer: Our plants are currently producing 1,000,000+ gallons of SuperSix™ per year, primarily serving the West coast markets. BioStar is aggressively building new plants to meet increased demand for liquid organic fertilizer.
- SuperSix™ Highlights
SuperSix™ is a honey-colored, translucent, nitrogen-fertilizer that will flow freely through irrigation/fertigation delivery systems as well as drip-tape delivery fertigation systems up to 180 mesh. SuperSix is easy to handle, will not settle, is shelf stable, and has an exceptionally low freezing point. It is free of pathogens and harmful bacteria due to micro filtering and pasteurization steps in our manufacturing process. It is a revolutionary fertilizer that delivers great results and higher crop yields.

BioStar’s patented technologies is to concentrate the nitrogen from Perfect Blend's patented manure drying process, into our OMRI-listed SuperSix™ Organic Liquid Nitrogen Fertilizer. Our process captures the moisture from the drying process, cleaning and concentrating the nitrogen.
