- A higher quality putty will hold the oil better and not cause a stain. The word stainless does not refer to stainless steel putty.

Black Swan's Stay Soft Plumbers Putty can be used for setting toilet bowls, fixtures, faucets, strainers, basin cocks, sink frames, and many other sealing and caulking applications.
Directions
- Apply Stay Soft Plumbers Putty liberally and evenly to clean dry surface.
- Set and tighten fixture.
- Remove excess putty.
For Natural Marble Surface
- Do not let putty come into contact with natural marble surface.
- Brush or spray marble area with clear acrylic lacquer. Allow to dry.
- Apply putty as noted above.
