- If boards are wet, moisture may seep out of wood while dipping. It is best to use dry wood.
- Before dipping, ensure boards are free of any dust and debris

- Heat container of wax to 220°F
- Dip box into wax and let it submerge for a few minutes so the wax can soak into the wood
- Remove the boards and let wax drip off and solidify
