    Technical Details & Test Data

    Reactivity

D-150 is highly miscible with standard organic solvents, such as alcohols, hydrocarbons and acetone. D150 is practically insoluble in neutral water and reacts only slowly to form silanols and higher condensation products. Addition of a hydrolytic catalyst (inorganic/organic acids, ammonia or amines) accelerates the hydrolysis of D-150 substantially.

    Storage & Handling

    Product Handling and Storage

The “Best use before end” date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
