    Applications & Uses

    Application and Performance
    • D-91 is used as a neutral curing agent in silicone sealant formulations.
    • In most cases D-91 is used in combination with methyloxime silane. Compared to formulations based on methyloxime silanes only, the use of combinations containing methyl- and vinyloxime silanes leads to a shorter skin formation time of the silicone sealant without a reduction of the curing time. The ability of the sealant to withstand stress early, required for a certain elasticity and tear resistance, is achieved.
    • The curing speed of D-91 is higher than D–90.

    Storage & Handling

    Product Handling and Storage

The “Best use before end” date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
