BNT Chemicals Stannous Chloride Dihydrate is a colorless and crystalline powder that is readily soluble in hydrochloric acid solutions. When stored in the open air, both the crystals and the solution absorb oxygen, forming an insoluble, white oxychloride. Tin(II)-chloride is obtained by heating tin in hydrogen chloride.
