Dosage
In conventional alkyd formulations, the Zinc addition is between 0.03 – 0.50 % metal based on the vehicle solids of the coating and will vary depending upon the composition of the binder. The specific drier blend should be experimentally determined. Zinc drier can be added to the dispersion and/or in the letdown with other driers.
