MEKO-free anti-skins further enhance sustainability when used with Borchi® OXY-Coat cobalt-free high-performance catalysts for solvent-based short, medium, and long oil alkyd coatings or Borchi® Dragon high-performance cobalt-free catalyst for solvent-based high solids, long oil alkyd coatings. Other MEKO-free anti-skins include: ● Ascinin® Anti-Skin 0444 ● Ascinin® Anti-Skin 1240 ● Ascinin® Anti Skin 0445 ● Borchi® Shield .

Applications & Uses

Dosage
Borchi® Nox 1640 can directly be added in its supply form. lt can be added either to the mill base or to the finished paint, stirring constantly. The addition of Borchi® Nox 1640 is 0.2 to 1.5 % on paint formulation or 1.5 – 2 times the amount of MEKO. The optimum dosage depends on the binder / pigment system and must be determined beforehand in trials.
