- Processing
The bonding surface must be cleaned, oil and grease-free as well as dry. Cut off Combband 300 with an excess length of approx. 2 %. The first 3 cm of each roll are to be cut off. Remove covering foil and press Combband 300 onto the suitable surface. Apply sealing tape approx. 2 – 3 mm from joint upper edge. Never let the tape run around corners. The ends should always meet blunt. The excess length of the Combband 300 is pressed into the corners. Run continuously through vertical joints. The ends of the lengths are to be pressed together, when elongating Combband 300. Overlapping is not permitted.
Please note:
- No cleaning with compressed air or strong vinegary solutions.
- Combband 300 may be painted with water-soluble colors.
- Combband 300 is suitable for driving rain-proof sealing of joints up to 300 Pa depending upon joint width and corresponds to building materials load classification BG 2 according to DIN 18 542:
