BRB CM 45-S is used as volatile carrier in Antiperspirants/deodorants, hair care formulations, skin care creams and lotions as well as in make-up products. The Cyclotetrasiloxane evaporates at a faster rate than the Cyclopentasiloxane, giving a different balance between volatility and spreading compared to straight Cyclopentasiloxane.
- Usage Guidelines
BRB CM 45-S may be used alone or blended with other cosmetic fluids to provide a fluid base for a variety of cosmetic ingredients. It features good solubility in most anhydrous alcohols and in many cosmetic solvents. BRB CM 45-S should be stored at 5°C above its freeze point. If the material does freeze on no account should a naked flame be used to melt the product.
