Intumax DBK is a highly efficient phosphate based halogen free fire retardant intumescent agent. It has a slightly acidic pH, and is water insoluble. Intumax DBK is recommended for use in both indoor and outdoor application in two part urethanes. Applications where Intumax DBK has found utility vary greatly from urethane adhesives, non-skid coatings, and for secondary electrical applications in urethane potting and encapsulating systems.
