MANTILLO is made through the aerobic composting of leaves, pine bark, crushed seeds and pruning rests.
The heavy metals content is lower than the authorized limits for this classification (A). Through the composting process the material is cleansed, as it reaches 70ºC for a whole hour, which ensures the elimination of all odors, adventitious smells and weeds.
MANTILLO is sieved at an homogenous, <16mm grnulometry The whole production process, as well as the final product, is under our strict quality controls, based by Normas ISO-9001 y 14001, with the aim of ensuring costumer’s satisfaction and environmental respect in all our activities.

MANTILLO is applied before plantation, mixing it with the soils’ surface, or on old cultivations, adding it to the surface. It increases the organic matter percentage and brings nutrients to the soil.
Its balanced composition allows for use in the following crops:
CULTIVO DOSE FRUTA 2.000-2.500 kg/ha CITRIC 2.000-2.500 kg/ha HORTICULTURE 2.000-3.000 kg/ha OLIVES 500-750 g/cepa GARDENING 50 kg/100m2 GRASS 25 kg/100m2 It is recommended to use MANTILLO to improve the soils’ fertilization, spreading it first over the plant and then burying some 10-25cm deep, It’s also used as a substrate, on its own or mixed, and as mulch to protect seeds and roots.
Effects of MANTILLO BURÉS on the soil:
- Activates and stimulates the microorganisms Diversity on the soil, promoting vegetal growth and eliminating pathogens.
- Brings organic matter, so that humus can be formed, which is a natural soil fertilizer.
- Improves physical and Chemicals properties of the soil, as well as its porosity, water retention and structure.
- Its mineralization brings nutrients to the plants
