- Composition
Urea-formaldehyde gets hydrolyzed when in content with the soil, breaking into smaller, soluble particles that mix with the soil and become first ammoniac and the nitrate due to bacteria’s action.
This takes places slowly, allowing the plants to absorb all of it.
Features & Benefits
- Product Highlights
Forced farming systems require that the plants have the right nutrients through the whole farming process.
Nitrogen, phosphor and potassium are Essentials nutrients for the plant that can be found in the soil, and are added on the fertilizer so that the plants do not lack them.
The plant is able to absorb only a little part of the added nutrients due to several loss ways. Compensating such losses by adding more nutrients makes the process very expensive and contaminates the environment.
Out of technical, environmental and economical reasons, then, the optimization of the fertilizers becomes a strong need. Systems that release the nutrients slowly allow the plant’s total absorption, reducing the cost and contamination of the process.
BURÉS PROFESIONAL, S.A. presents the new VERPLANT, slow-release high quality fertilizer that answer the need of the clients of a better fertilization process. Two different products are offered, with 10-12 weeks longevity:
- Verplant 15-5-8 + 3 MgO
- 7% Amoniacal nitrogen
- 1% Ureic nitrogen
- 7% Formaldehid ureic nitrogen
Nitrogen is one of the least efficient nutrients, having four main loss ways (un-nitrification, lixiviation, washing out, ammoniac formation…). This is way it’s one of the components of VERPLANT.
Verplant is recommended both for grass son fields, parks and Gardens as for horticulture and flowers’ farming.
- Properties
Verplant is a complex, granulated, slow release fertilizer based on urea-formaldehyde.
This kind of fertilizers slowly releases the nitrogen, guaranteeing a constant dose on the crops. This way the plants get the nutrients they need and the environment is better preserved.
Verplant optimizes the losses by decomposition, washing or fixation, as only a small fraction of nutrients is availble to the plant at every moment, so that they are completely absorbed. As mentioned before, this brings economical and environmental benefits.

Verplant products are designed to cover the needs of long cycle (>5 months) vegetation.
There are two products, which last 3-4months.
It is recommendable to bury Verplant to a depth of 5-8cm before planning, so that the fertilizer is well mixed with the soil In the following table you can find the recommended doses. If followed, there are no risks of burnings or too high salt content on soil.
