Formulation Guidelines

• Burcoterge GRN can be used in both acidic and basic environments. However, effectiveness of the product rapidly diminishes above a pH of 11.5.
• The use of solvents such as glycols, butyl ethers, and d-limonene as part of the formulation is possible.
• To increase the amount of foam generated, surfactants such as Burcoterge C2P-39 (amphoteric) or Burco COPB-35 (betaine) can be added to the formulation.
• Formulation of DfE and Green Seal acceptable products should follow the guidelines published by the certifying bodies to ensure all standards are met for all materials in a given formulation.

Recommended Uses

• Household Cleaners: all purpose cleaners and degreasers, patio furniture cleaners, vinyl and aluminum siding cleaners, neutral floor cleaners, concrete floor cleaners
• I&I: all purpose cleaners and degreasers, oven cleaners, parts washers, neutral floor cleaners
• Printing: press cleaners (offset, litho, flexo, and water-based gravure), including blankets, press frames, folders, and guide rollers
• Transportation: frictionless/touchless presoaks, self-splitting truck washes, self-serve presoaks/detergents, non-acid wheel cleaners, bilge cleaners, canvas and vinyl cleaners
