Preparation:
1 In a premix container, disperse the polyquaternium-10 in water
and heat to 50-60°C to fully hydrate the polymer.
2 Add SULFOCHEM™ ALS (ammonium lauryl sulfate) and
SULFOCHEM™ ES-2 (sodium laureth sulfate) to main container
and mix with propeller agitation.
3 Heat to 60°C.
4 Add citric acid and triclosan and mix until dissolved.
5 When uniform, add the polyquaterium-10 solution to the main
container.
6 Then add AMIDEX™ CME (cocamide MEA), GLUQUAT 125™,
GLUCAMATE DOE-120™, and tetrasodium EDTA to the batch in
that order, waiting for each ingredient to dissolve before adding
the next.
7 Cool to 40°C and add preservative and fragrance.
