Cantol Noncorr

Cantol Noncorr is a non-corrosive, non-fuming, biodegradable cleaner containing a low pH organic salt that acts like an acid but without the safety concerns found in traditional acid cleaners. Cantol Noncorr is classified as a mild skin irritant. Thus providing significant safety, handling, labeling and shipping advantages. In traditional acid cleaners, two of the most commonly used toxic substances are hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid. Cantol Noncorr is proven to be an effective replacement for these, and many other acids, acid blends and organic acids. Cantol Noncorr provides fast removal of calcium, lime, rust, and other deposits typically found on metal surfaces today. Cantol Noncorr is a detergent-rich formulation that clings to the surface while providing effective soil removal at an economical cost.

Application Method
Directions

To Clean

  • Remove excess dirt and grime.
  • Dilute to a recommended dilution of one part NONCORR to 30 parts water.
  • For stubborn soil make up a more concentrated solution.
  • Apply by brush, cloth, and dip or soak method.
  • Let Cantol Noncorr do the work for several minutes.
  • Scrub thoroughly when applicable and rinse with water.

To Foam

  • Using the Cantol Foam Gun or Multi-Ratio Foam Gun apply a generous amount of liquid directly onto the surface. For severe rust stains, if possible, scrub surface with a stiff brush.
  • Let Cantol Noncorr do the work.
  • Rinse thoroughly
  • Repeat if necessary.
Concrete Etching
  • Dilute one part Cantol Noncorr with one part water.
  • Apply at the rate of 250 square feet per gallon or 5 square meters per liter with a stiff brush, broom or plastic sprinkling can.
  • After the surface has been completely covered and the bubbling action has ceased, flush thoroughly with clear water and allow to air dry.

  • Brewery - tile floors, walls, and grouting, stainless steel tanks, equipment, pipes and valves.
  • Engineering - to remove hard water scale from heating, air conditioning equipment, and humidifiers.
  • General maintenance - cement sidewalks, terrazzo floors, patios, and around swimming pools.
  • Rust removal - metal surfaces, concrete, toilets, urinals.

  • Non-Corrosive to skin as defined and tested in accordance with the U.S. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, DOT Hazardous Material Regulations, Canada WHMIS regulations and TDG Regulations.
  • Classified as a mild skin irritant as per 1992 OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals, Number 404 “Acute Dermal Irritation/Corrosion.
