Cantol Solvent K

Cantol Solvent K is a mild odor solvent designed and formulated for the fast efficient degreasing of various types of metal parts. Solvent K contains a special emulsifier and wetting agent that helps speed up the cleaning as well as the rinsing action. The versatility of Solvent K allows it to be used in multiple applications such as brushing, dipping, wiping, hand spraying, or as an exceptional parts washer solvent. Solvent K has a higher flash point than most commonly used solvents for parts washing. Since Solvent K is almost odorless, it creates a more pleasant atmosphere for the operator.

Directions

General Cleaning

  • Use full strength.
  • Brush, dip, wipe or spray the part with Solvent K.
  • Rinse with Solvent K or water.
  • Wipe clean, air dry, or use compressed air.

Parts Washer

  • Drain and clean parts washer.
  • Add Solvent K full strength.
  • Submerge part and allow time to soak into heavily soiled parts.
  • If necessary, agitate with a brush to remove embedded dirt.
  • Rinse with Solvent K or water.
  • Wipe clean, let air dry or use compressed air.
  • NOTE: To avoid flash rusting, remove all traces of the water rinse.
