Carmeuse Hydrated Lime

Carmeuse Hydrated Lime is used in iron and steel foundries as a lime whitewash coating on the molds to prevent sticking and provide temporary corrosion protection of finished products. Castings can get sticky or difficult to remove hydrated lime aids in the release of these shapes from the molds. Acidic environments can harm the surface of finished products; hydrated lime’s acid neutralization properties can prevent damage to your finished products.
