Our current list of CAROBOND mortar is made from both classes, Air-setting (wet and dry) and Heat-setting (wet and dry) are used with refractory brick to fill in joints and create a bond between brick.

CAROBOND

CAROBOND 30 W is a wet, super duty, air setting mortar with a service temperature limit of 3000°F. CAROBOND 30 W is homogenous and provides excellent bonding strength. This product can be troweled, dipped, or brushed. Can be used with high-duty, super-duty, high alumina, and insulating fire brick.

CAROBOND 30 W

CAROBOND 90 W is a high alumina, chemically bonded, wet mortar with extremely high refractoriness. It has excellent strength and metal penetration resistance. It is used for laying all types of high alumina brick. It has excellent troweling characteristics.

CAROBOND 90 W

CAROBOND 33 W is a high alumina, chemically bonded, wet mortar. It has excellent strength and resistance to molten metal and slags. As a heat setting mortar it is used for laying high alumina brick where service conditions are severe.
