Carpenter Co. CARPOL® Polyols are used to make products as rigid as surfboards, as soft as bedding, as resilient as car seats, and as durable as coatings, adhesives, and sealants.

Carpenter has added a new line of nonionic surfactants called CARPOL® NIONIC ™. This new product line makes use of their expertise in alkoxylation providing a range of EO/PO block copolymers serving a variety of markets where defoaming, wetting, and emulsifying are critical.

The Carpenter Co. Chemical Systems Division operates four high-technology chemical blending facilities, located in Texas, Virginia, Indiana, and the United Kingdom, housing chemical blenders and reactors. These locations produce reliable, ready-to-use polyurethane chemical systems for a wide variety of applications.
Carpol® polyurethane rigid foam polyols are available in a wide range of grades and functionalities to serve your formulating needs. No matter if your application is insulation, structural, flotation or something completely unique, Carpenter Co. has a complete range of rigid polyols from which to choose.
The same flexible foam polyols that make Carpenter leader in comfort are available to their customers. Let Carpenter Co. help you to make better comfort products. Your move into higher sales and better finished products can come from CARPOL® polyols.
Carpol semi-rigid foams are used to make luxurious automobile seats, molded furniture and high-tech instrument panels. The quality and resiliency of these high-performance polyols help customers deliver the “feel” and performance necessary in these applications with stringent product demands.
Coatings. Adhesives. Sealants. Elastomers. If you want it to shine, last, stick, in a variety of conditions then your formulations have to be made with Carpol® polyols. With a broad range of products, Carpenter Co, provides you with the tools needed to create finished products that perform in these diverse applications.
Carpenter Co. also provides a wide variety of alkoxylates that are used for a broad range of end uses: from defoamers to carrier fluids to lubricants. We have Kosher and Halal certified products along with products meeting various FDA clearances. We also provide a wide variety of surfactant, polyglycols, and alcohol alkoxylates. Carpenter Co. creates polymers to meet the needs of a diverse marketplace.


CARPOL

CARPOL® GP-6307 is a glycerine initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a functionality of three and an average molecular weight of 6300. This triol is polymerized with propylene oxide and then capped with 7% ethylene oxide. The outcome is a polyol with enhanced reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E., however, Carpol® GP-6307 may also be included as a component in other urethane products and formulations.

CARPOL® GP-6307

CARPOL® EDAP-800 is an ethylene diamine initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a nominal functionality of four and a typical hydroxyl number of 800. This tetrol is polymerized with ethylene and propylene oxide and has a mild catalytic nature. This polyol’s functionality makes it optimal for use in rigid foams as a crosslinking modifier. In addition, Carpol® EDAP-800 can also be used as a curative for most C.A.S.E. applications.

CARPOL® GP-700 is a glycerine initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a functionality of three and an average molecular weight of 700. This triol is polymerized solely with propylene oxide for controlled reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E. and flexible foam, however, Carpol® GP-700 may also be included as component in other urethane products and formulations.

CARPOL® GP-700

CARPOL® GSP-355 is a glycerine/sucrose initiated polyether polyol. The high functionality of the initiators yields a resultant polyol with a nominal functionality of 4.5 and a typical hydroxyl number of 355. Due to this polyol’s high functional nature, it is typically used in rigid foam and its applications. Blending this polyol with other polyether polyols allows for foam systems with high to low degrees of crosslinking. In addition, Carpol® GSP-355 is a neutral material, which presents the formulator with complete catalytic control over a system.

CARPOL® GSP-355

CARPOL® PGP-1000 is a propylene glycol initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a functionality of two and an average molecular weight of 1000. This diol is polymerized solely with propylene oxide for controlled reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E., however, Carpol® PGP-1000 may also be included as a component in other urethane products and formulations.

CARPOL® PGP-1000

CARPOL® GP-6015 (reactive triol) is a glycerine initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a functionality of three and an average molecular weight of 6000. This triol is polymerized with propylene oxide and then capped with 15% ethylene oxide. The outcome is a polyol with enhanced reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E., as this polyol has low total unsaturation levels and an anti-oxidant package tailored for this type of market.

CARPOL® GP-3000 is a glycerine initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a functionality of three and an average molecular weight of 3000. This triol is polymerized solely with propylene oxide for controlled reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E., however, Carpol® GP-3000 may also be included as a component in other urethane products and formulations.

CARPOL® PGP-3000 is a propylene glycol initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a functionality of two and an average molecular weight of 3000. This diol is polymerized solely with propylene oxide for controlled reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E., however, Carpol® PGP-3000 may also be included as a component in other urethane products and formulations.

CARPOL® PGP-3000

CARPOL® GP-4000 is a glycerine initiated polyether polyol. The resulting material has a functionality of three and an average molecular weight of 4000. This triol is polymerized solely with propylene oxide for controlled reactivity. Main applications include C.A.S.E., however, Carpol® GP-4000 may also be included as a component in other urethane products and formulations.
