- Many factors can influence the Activation of all antioxidants.
- Among the most important factors are the molecular structure, the number of functional groups, the molecular weight, the pH, its coefficient of solubility, the antioxidant capacity of each molecule, etc., as well as the time and intensity of the current electric used.
- Not all molecules require the same Activation time to reach their maximum capacity, their optimization being the most important parameter to control the highest performance.
- Once the most favorable factors for its greater biological capacity have been determined, it is very important to suspend Activation because from this maximum peak a slight or rapid loss of its biological capacity usually begins.
