Applications & Uses

Fungicide Target Species
How It Works

Cueva fungicide concentrate is a patented, fixed copper fungicide made by combining a soluble copper with a fatty acid to form a true soap. This copper soap fungicide protects plants from a wide range of diseases, including downy and powdery mildews.

  • Cueva’s small particle size efficiently releases copper ions when mixed with water.
  • When applied, Cueva spreads evenly over the plant surface.
  • With its built in fatty acid “tail,” Cueva enhances coverage.
  • Cueva comes into contact with pathogen cells and breaks down cell walls.
  • Plant surfaces are left clean and virtually pathogen free.
How To Apply

• For best control, begin treatment before disease normally appears or when weather forecast predicts a long period of wet weather. Alternatively, begin treatment when disease first appears, and repeat at 7 to 10 day intervals for as long as needed.
• Time applications so that dry weather follows each application.
• Can be used through sprinkler irrigation, no adverse effects on aluminum pipes.
• Complete coverage is essential for disease control.
