SENSOCEL® Functional cosmetic ingredients – for the benefit of natural and gentle personal care  “Back to nature” – a development, which strongly affects the cosmetic sector for several years now. Ecological friendliness and sustainability become more and more important in the cosmetic industry. The main challenge within this movement is to replace chemical, harmful substances by natural ingredients. SENSOCEL® natural fibers offer a wide range of applications and are gained during a particularly gentle manufacturing process from different plants.

SENSOCEL® bc 1000 is a long fiber with a particle size of 700 Âµm obtained from natural bamboo cellulose. The long bamboo fiber is a natural and sustainable alternative to synthetic fibers in color cosmetics and leads to a considerable lash extension in mascaras. In skin care applications SENSOCEL® bc 1000 creates a â€œballing effectâ€ for a soft and gentle cleansing of the skin and ensures a controlled moisture regulation in cosmetic masks.

SENSOCEL® stab 026-N is a natural stabilizing system based on colloidal microcrystalline cellulose. SENSOCEL® stab 026-N enables the stabilization of formulations with a low impact on viscosity and exclusive skin feels. Due to the thixotropic character SENSOCEL® stab 026-N is perfect for sprayable formulations. With a high process stability SENSOCEL® stab 026-N fits perfect into several applications in skin care and rinse-off products.

SENSOCEL® dental p30-C is a new and effective alternative to polyethylene and mineral-based cleansing particles for toothpastes and has been developed in cooperation with Fraunhofer IMWS in Germany. According to their specific surface character, SENSOCEL® dental p30-C assures a gentle but efficient cleansing and polishing of the teeth without causing any damage to the dental enamel or dentin. By the application of SENSOCEL® dental p30-C the optimal ratio between abrasion and cleaning performance can be reached.

SENSOCEL® bc 20 is a 100% plant based powder from bamboo cellulose and has multiple positive influences on the skin feel and texture of skin care products. Rich emulsions often appear with an undesired stickiness, oiliness and slow skin absorption. The ultra-fine bamboo powder SENSOCEL® bc 20 has an excellent capacity to absorb oil &amp; water for a strong and quick matte effect. It considerably reduces the stickiness of emulsions and creates harmonic and homogeneous textures. SENSOCEL® bc 20 is 100% biodegradable and creates a silicone touch on a natural basis.

SENSOCEL® bc 200 is a long fiber with a particle size of 350 Âµm obtained from natural bamboo cellulose. The long bamboo fiber is a natural and sustainable alternative to synthetic fibers in color cosmetics and leads to a considerable lash extension in mascaras. SENSOCEL® 200G are pure, white cellulose granules which are obtained during a particularly gentle production from wood. According to their abrasive structure SENSOCEL® 200G are a natural and effective alternative to microplastics (polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polyester, polyamide, polyurethane, polyimide) which is 100% biodegradable. Towards highly-abrasive plant granules our SENSOCEL® 200G granules ensure a very mild and efficient exfoliation. Their low abrasion and high cleansing performance has been proofed by Fraunhofer IMWS.

SENSOCEL® oc 30G are fine cellulose granules and perfectly fit the upcycling trend, while they are obtained from by-products of the food production. With a particle size of 50 Âµm SENSOCEL® oc 30G is very suitable for facial exfoliation and lip peelings. SENSOCEL® oc 30G is chemically inert, temperature stable and easy to stabilize. With a high cleansing performance at low abrasion SENSOCEL® oc 30G cleans the skin without being irritating. By using SENSOCEL® oc 30G you can replace microplastic beads in a natural and sustainable way.

SENSOCEL® 200G green are colored cellulose scrubs from wood and are available in the colors green, yellow, orange, red and black. The natural and sustainable plant granules have a particle size of 300 Âµm. Due to the high cleansing efficacy at low abrasion SENSOCEL® 200G green are a eco-friendly alternative to microplastic beads. The particles are stable within the whole pH range as well as photo stable.

SENSOCEL® 8 is an ultra-fine powder, based on natural microcrystalline cellulose. In order to reach exclusive sensory profiles in cosmetic formulations, SENSOCEL® 8 should be your first choice. SENSOCEL® 8 leads to a quick absorption of emulsions on the skin as well as an improved spreadability. The high water- and oil-binding capacity enables the reduction of stickiness as well as a high mattifying effect. The ultra-fine cellulose particles set into the wrinkles and lead to a soft-focus effect. By using SENSOCEL® 8 you can easily replace synthetic skin feel enhancers on a natural and sustainable base.
