CFOAM LTD was formed in March 2016 as the holding company for the wholly owned US subsidiary Carbon Innovations, LLC to acquire assets, Intellectual Property, and 27 various patents from Touchstone Research Laboratories via an Asset Purchase Agreement. After a very successful Initial Public Offering that raised over $9M Australian dollars, the company was admitted to quotation on the ASX on 26 October 2016 under the ticker symbol CFO.

CFOAM® 20

CFOAM® 35 HTC graphite foam is a graphitized, lightweight, highly-oriented and open-cell carbon foam produced from mesophase pitch feedstock. CFOAM® 35 HTC graphite foam has exceptionally high thermal conductivity comparable to that of copper and aluminum with significant weight savings. In addition to its high thermal conductivity, CFOAM® 35 HTC also demonstrates high electrical conductivity, high strength and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. CFOAM® 35 HTC is also easily machinable, chemically inert, corrosion free, resistant to harsh environments, and resistive to oxidation up to 400°C.
