Danger Causes Severe Burns
Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Avoid breathing mists or sprays. Keep container closed. Do not allow water to contact this cleaner. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Wear goggles, face shield, rubber gloves, and protective clothing when handling. While making solutions, add slowly to surface to avoid violent spattering.Use In Well Ventilated Areas. Avoid Breathing Fumes Generated By Use Of This Product.
First Aid
Caustic Soda in all forms is highly corrosive and can cause serious burns to the eyes and skin. Direct contact can cause bums to the eyes and skin. Direct contact with eyes for only a few seconds can cause blindness. Short contact with the skin can cause painful iritation or a chemical bum. Therefore, all forms of caustic soda must be handled with extreme care. In all cases of bodily contact with this product, the product must be removed as quickly as possible.
Eyes: Floor with water for at least 15 minutes. See physician at once.
Internal: Give vinegar or juice of lemon, orange, or grapefruit freely. Follow with butter, cooking oil, or olive oil. See physician at once.
External: Flood with water, then wash with vinegar. See physician at once.
