- CP Soft 145 Softener
- CP Soft 145 is a water-based low viscosity softener formulated with a biodegradable, vegetable base TEA esterquat (Quaternary Ammonium Compound).
- Applications
CP Soft 145 is a special softener for tissue paper. The product is applied without dilution on a tissue paper web in a tissue converting operation. It is of sufficiently
low viscosity to be sprayed or it can be applied through a coating or printing process such as a flexographic or a rotogravure process. CP Soft 145 cannot be used with an
electrostatic spraying system.CP Soft 145 is designed to impart good softness to the fibers without adversely affecting the tissue’s ability to absorb water. CP Soft 145 is designed to impart handfeel improvements to facial tissue in particular at low rates of application. This product improves surface smoothness as well as the flexibility of the web. Application rates in the order of 2 to 5% by weight are typical.
The product imparts no or little odor change to the tissue. CP Soft 145 will not cause any significant yellowing to the fibers after application.

CP Soft 145 is not toxic. If spilt on bare skin wash with soap and water. If the product comes in contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 min and seek medical advice if discomfort persists.
