As it is free of preservatives and fragrances, it can be used in personal care formulations, such as topical antiseptics, deodorants, liquid and bar soaps and body lotions, providing the skin with a feeling of hydration, as it does not induce dryness. It is also indicated for alcohol gel formulations, to complement hand sanitization or increase skin protection.
