ClearSol CHLOR HF

1 of 8 products in this brand
ClearSol CHLOR HF is a high-foaming surfactant system that is readily soluble in 12% active sodium hypochlorite (bleach) solutions as well as other oxidizers, including hydrogen peroxide. It has high foam properties, making ClearSol CHLOR HF suitable for many industrial cleaning processes where high foaming properties are desirable. ClearSol CHLOR HF contributes to quick dynamic surface tension lowering, resulting in fast wetting and spreading on various hydrophobic substrates.

Features & Benefits

Key Features

ClearSol CHLOR HF exhibits the following attributes when formulated at a 2000 ppm use level into final working solutions:

  • Extremely low surface tensions depending on formulation.
  • Provides the lowest known surface tension properties from a commercially available surfactant system to sodium hypochlorite and other strong oxidizing solutions.
  • Quick dynamic surface tension lowering resulting in fast wetting and spreading on various hydrophobic substrates.
  • High foam properties making this product suitable for many industrial cleaning processes where high foaming properties are desirable.
  • Does not contain any California Proposition 65 listed chemicals.
  • Can reduce either the NaOCl consumption or the cleaning cycle time by as much as 50%.

Formulation Tips
  • For best results ClearSol CHLOR HF should be formulated at a use level of 2000 ppm (or 0.20% by weight) use level in the cleaner’s final working solution.
  • For example, if a 5% Sodium Hypochlorite-Based Foaming Cleaner Concentrate is designed to be diluted to a 1% active sodium hypochlorite level (which would indicate a 20% dilution in water) then 1% ClearSol CHLOR HF would need to be added to the Sodium Hypochlorite-Based Cleaner Concentrate in order to have a 2000 ppm (0r 0.20% by weight) level of ClearSol CHLOR HF in the final 20% by weight use dilution with water.
