Product Highlights

This is a unique electropaint that combines the advantages of an excellent polyurethane based anodic E-coat by enhancing the lubricity and wear resistance of the coating through additions of our Tektor family of solid film lubricants. Furthermore, abrasion resistance of the coating is increased through the addition of nano-ceramic particulates.

Features
  • Excellent adhesion to a variety of base metals, aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel, gold, nickel, electroplated chrome, and magnesium.
  • Outstanding chemical resistance
  • Good weathering properties due to high UV resistance
  • Contains PTFE, Boron Nitride and Molybdenum disulfide to enhance wear and lubricity
  • Nano-ceramic particles are suspended for co-deposition to improve hardness and abrasion resistance
  • Nano particles assist in controlling gloss
  • Black in color the coating is fully opaque at 10 -12 microns (0.4 - 0.5 mils).
  • This results in a low friction, wear/abrasion resistance enhanced, durable black semi-gloss coating that is applied with electropaint technology with excellent thickness control.
