CLiQFLOW 603 provides a thixotropic, shear thinning flow behavior. It improves storage stability, controls pigment suspension, workability and sag resistance.At higher loadings it provides sufficient water retention to replace current cellulose used in decorative latex paints.
CLiQFLOW 603 is easy to activate and is recommended in systems with a pH between 3 and 12. It can be combined with any other classes of rheological additives to further modify the flow behavior and performance of an aqueous system.

CLiQFLOW 603 is typically used at a loading level between 0.1–1.0% depending on the nature of the system. For storage stability a loadinglevelof 0.15 % might be sufficient; for viscosity control a loading of 0.3% on total might be recommended for the first screening study.
CLiQFLOW603 requires shear and dwell for activation. It can be incorporated as powder at the milling stage of the manufacturing process but also as pre-gel in water. The pre-gel can be added at any formulation step. It is recommended to use a pre-gel concentration of 3% CLiQFLOW 603 for optimum activation.
CLiQFLOW 603 is compatible with most binder systems and can be combined with any other rheological additive if required.
