- Assures the intense energy needs of the hair follicles in Anagen phase
- It assist rising the oxygen consumption that comes before the mitotic activity of the cells at the hair bulb
- Helps the stimulation of the growth of hair follicles
- It is indicated for the treatment of devitalized, dried and thin hair problems
- Epigenetic activity
- Product Highlights
Thanks to its homology with the glycogen of the epidermal and capillary cells, it ensures the availability of energy in the active growth phase of the hair follicle and is closely related to the hair growth process.
It is present and is metabolized in the hair follicle during the synthesis of necessary proteins in the growth phase.
Hair loss (alopecia) is a common problem for men and women, so there is considerable interest in treatments that can prevent or reverse it.
Dermal papilla cells are specialized cells located within the hair follicle bulb.
During the anagen phase (active growth phase), the number of cells of the dermal papilla increases leading to the growth of the new follicle. The initiation of this phase is signaled by the inhibition of the GSK-3 protein.
The epigenetic activity of GLYCOENERGIZER HAIR stimulates the expression of microRNAs that inhibit GSK3 protein, stimulating hair growth and exerting a hair anti-aging activity.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Test Data
1) Epigenetic regulation of key genes in the proliferation of dermal papilla cells: GLYCOENERGIZER HAIR increased the expression of miRNA-26a-5p and miRNA-29b-3p that inhibit GSK3 protein, stimulating hair growth.
2) Stimulation of hair growth and vitality: 10 male volunteers with weak and fine hair used a 2% GLYCOENERGIZER HAIR shampoo and a 10% intensive blister, 3 times / week for 8 weeks.
After 24 applications (8 weeks), a mean increase in capillary thickness of 19.3% was obtained in 70% of volunteers and a mean decrease in the ratio of vellus (very fine hair) of 47% in 70% of volunteers:
