HYDRO-MARINE COLLAGEN V10

HYDRO-MARINE COLLAGEN V10 is a marine complex obtained by partial hydrolysis of native collagen. Native collagen is a high molecular weight protein (about 300,000 Daltons) that is not able to penetrate the epidermal barrier to reach the dermis. Thanks to a controlled manufacturing process, the long protein chains are cut into smaller peptides and amino acids, capable of penetrating the stratum corneum providing amino acids and polypeptides, collagen precursors.

HYDRO-MARINE COLLAGEN V10 is particularly rich in specific amino acids and polypeptides. Collagen is the main insoluble fibrous protein found in the skin extracellular matrix, along with elastin and hyaluronic acid. Collagen plays a key role in the structure of the skin providing support and integrity. With age or premature aging, collagen fibers begin to cross-link and disorganize. This results in an alteration of its structure and physicochemical properties resulting in the formation of wrinkles.
