Application area and materials
Test adhesives are indispensable due to the variety of materials. For joining laminated panels, furniture edges, aluminum, lead, cork, leather, linoleum, polyurethane foam, textiles, felt, decorative foils among each other and on wooden materials, absorbent and non-absorbent materials, plaster- and cement-bonded panels. Other applications are possible. Not suitable for outdoor applications. Risk of oxidation on iron, copper and brass.
Application data
Apply to both sides. The figures are based on results of tests on bonds made under standard conditions (20 °C and 65% relative humidity). Different conditions may lead to deviations from the said specifications.
Adhesive application quantity
Total adhesive application 140–220 g/m², depending on the absorbency of the materials.
Pressure
0.1-0.8 N/mm2 , the higher the pressure, the higher the cohesion.
Application
Apply adhesive evenly on both sides using a roller. On porous and highly absorbent materials such as chipboard edges, is recommended a second application after approx. 5 minutes waiting time. Flash-off time can be shortened with heat (hot-air dryer, infrared emitter).
Important
Only join the two parts together when the adhesive is transparent. Uniform and strong pressing with a pressure roller or pressing device is a prerequisite for permanent bonding.
Clean-up
In wet condition with water. When cured, mechanically or with hot water.
