Suga®Nate 160NC is a naturally-derived, high-performance surfactant that provides numerous advantages for a variety of formulations. Using Suga®Nate 160NC, formulators can start with a high-foaming product and build to preferred esthetic properties, without concerns of irritation to eyes and skin. Suga®Nate 160NC is also very low in toxicity and cost-effective when compared to other surfactants used in typical sulfate-free formulations.

Suga®Det Mild is a mild, naturally-derived concentrated blend of sulfate-free surfactants for use as a base for personal care cleansing products. This blend is free of ethoxylates (1,4-dioxane), alcohols, diethanolamides, lauryl sulfates, laureth sulfates, parabens, and formaldehyde. Suga®Det Mild features Suga®Nate 160NC, Colonial’s 100% natural APG-based surfactant that offers high foam and unparalleled mildness. The remaining surfactant ingredients in the blend are also derived from natural, renewable resources.

Cola® Lipid C is a coconut oil derived phospholipid composed predominantly of diester and triester phosphatides with multiplechain groups. Cola® Lipid C displays a broad range of functional attributes including gentle cleansing and foaming properties, antiirritation eff ects when combined with anionic surfactants, unusually high substantivity, long-lasting skin conditioning, and broad spectrum antimicrobial activity.

Cola®Lipid ST is a multifunctional, natural triglyceride phospholipid similar to phospholipids that occur naturally in the body. It can be used in a variety of personal care products. This product is non-irritating to the eyes and skin, reduces irritation of anionic activity, and repairs damaged skin and hair.

Cola® Lipid SAFL is multifunctional, natural triglyceride organic phospholipid complex. It is designed to mimic natural phospholipids that occur naturally in the body and deposits essential fatty acids on skin. Cola® Lipid SAFL is derived from sustainable pure safflower oil and is highly substantive to hair and skin. Safflower oil contains a high level (80%) of linoleic acid, and it provides one of the principal essential fatty acids that is needed to maintain healthy skin. Cola®Teric 2C is a coco imidazoline-derived dicarboxylic acid amphoteric. It is one of mildest amphoteric surfactants of its class, provides a moderate lather and cleans without removing dermal lipids from the skin to give a rich, conditioning effect. Cola®Teric 2C is stable over a wide pH range and useful for institutional cleaners. Cola®Teric 2C is ideal for use in a wide range of cosmetic applications, including shampoos, hand and facial cleaners, baby wipes, and bath products.

Poly Suga®Glycinate L is made from alkylpolyglucosides which themselves are derived from coconut oil and corn syrup. This product are naturally derived from renewable vegatable resources that are fully biodegradable. It is designed to be used in combination with high foaming surfactants such as sodium laurylglucosides hydroxypropyl sulfonate to make non-irritating personal care cleansing products.

Poly Suga®Nate 160P NC is a sulfonated surfactant polymer based on high molecular weight alkyl polyglucoside polymers. Poly Suga®Nate 160P NC is a naturallyderived, high-performance surfactant that provides numerous advantages for a variety of formulations. PolySuga®Nate 160P NC is extremely mild to both eyes and skin compared to traditional anionic primary personal care surfactants.

Cola®Teric CDB is derived from natural fatty acids. It is a mild, unique secondary surfactant that can improve the viscosity response of sulfate-free and conventional anionic surfactant systems. Cola®Teric CDB is formulated for cold processing and easy handling and can also be used as a primary surfactant, foam booster or static control agent. Cola®Teric CDB is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants.

Cola®Teric COAB is a high foaming amphoteric surfactant useful in personal care and industrial applications. Of the Cola®Teric line, this product has the highest overall foam has, but it the least stable and has the quickest flash foam.

Cola®Fax CPE-K is an excellent water-soluble emulsifier designed to be used as a co-emulsifi er with low HLB surfactants. Cola®Fax CPE-K is completely non-irritating to skin. Cola®Fax CPE-K is easily dissolved into the hot water phase during emulsion processing. Cola®Fax CPE-K, at low use concentrates, will enhance the stability of any emulsion and thicken creams and lotions. It can replace TEA-stearate in most preparations. Cola®Fax CPE-K is ideally suited for use in many dermatological and personal care products as an oil-in-water emulsifier providing a silky powdery after feel.

Cola®Carb TDC is a mild anionic surfactant with good hard water tolerance. It thus improves the storage stability of amphoteric formulations, and can be used in combination with all ionic classes of surfactants. This product has applications in personal care and industrial formulations.

Cola®Teric 2CM is a coconut oil derived alkyl imidazoline dicarboxylic acid amphoteric, that displays multi-functional properties which include mild detergency, counter-irritancy, light conditioning, and lime soap dispersing. This product is ideal for use in shampoos, bath products, skin cleansers, and other mild personal care products. For industrial applications, Cola®Teric 2CM provides detergency, wetting, and hydrotroping attributes. This product is also compatible and stable in acids and concentrated electrolytes.

Poly Suga®Quat S-1210P is derived from polymerized alkyl polyglucosides. It provides substantivity to skin and hair, much more so than their nonionic APG precursors. This product is recommended for hair conditioners, clear 2-in-1 shampoos, body washes, detanglers, clear hair rinse, styling products, baby products, hand sanitizers, relaxers, and shower gels. It has a low irritation profile, superior hair conditioning, no greasy build-up, excellent wet comb properties, and helps control flyaway hair.

Cola® Det BSC-ND is a DEA-free, anionic and amphoteric concentrated blend of mild surfactants. With only dilution and minor additives, Cola® Det BSC-ND can be economically formulated into marketable pet products that provide mildness while off ering foam and viscosity equal or greater than leading brand pet shampoos.

Cola®Teric 2C-LV is a coco imidazoline-de- rived dicarboxylic acid amphoteric. Cola®Teric 2C-LV is a low viscosity process modification of Cola®Teric 2C that allows for handling without the need for heat and permits cold mix formulations - and easier to empty from containers. It is more versatile and tolerant of other additives permitting greater formulation latitude. Cola®Teric 2C-LV is ideal for use in a wide range of cosmetic applications.

When used in shampoos, body washes, and other personal care formulation, it actually contributes to the foam of the formulation.

Cola® Lipid DCCA is a plant-derived multifuctional phospholipid, combining gentle cleaning, mildness and excellent substantivity with broad spectrum antimicrobial activity. It can be utilized to minimize preservative requirements or to formulate self-preserved systems. Cola® Lipid DCCA is compatible with all surfactant types and is ideal for use in personal care cleansers where mildness and antimicrobial properties are of importance.

Poly Suga®Sil C-35P starts from a naturally derive building block, alkyl polyglucoside, and is derivatized with dimethicone to make a product that has excellent feel and conditioning. When used in shampoos, body washes, and other personal care formulation, it actually contributes to the foam of the formulation. This product yields higher foam than Poly Suga®Sil C-800P.

Poly Suga®Glycinate C is a high quality betaine derived from natural and "green" starting materials. It has no odor and will not add unwanted color to formulations. It is designed to be used in combination with high foaming surfactants to make non-irritating personal care cleansing products. Used in personal care formulations, the resulting foam is dense and has great stability. This product is an excellent choice for shaving creams, mousses, and other dense foam formulations.

Cola® Det EQ-12 is a blend of mild ingredients for the formulation of tear-free baby and children’s shampoos. This product can also be utilized for mild liquid soaps in foam pumps or for facial washes and bubble baths. Tear-free claims need to be established after viscosity adjustment and the addition of dyes, fragrances and other additives.

Cola®Mate OPV is a vegetable derived sulfosuccinate half ester of oleamide MIPA. It is a very mild surfactant to both eye and skin. When blended with high foaming anionic surfactants, this product will reduce irritation without significantly reducing foam. Cola®Mate OPV also responds readily to viscosity builders, such as, amides, betaines and salts.
