Cola®Fax 3373, a low foaming, water soluble, aliphatic-based phosphate ester, is an effective hydrotrope/solubilizer for conventional and low foam nonionic surfactants in alkaline systems. Additionally, it demonstrates excellent compatibility in sodium hypochlorite formulations. This product is recommended for use in spray, soak tank, and in-place pipeline cleaners.

Cola®Quat ISD is an effective, anionic compatible quaternary conditioner. It is based on isostearic acid and is sold in an anhydrous, inert solvent. It is approximately 75% active and can be used in a variety of household and personal care products to add lubricity and antistatic properties. Clear, conditioning shampoos and body cleansers can be formulated with Cola®Quat ISD, along with hand cleaners other bath products. Cola®Quat ISD may also be used as an antistatic agent. In shampoos and body wash products, use 0.3 to 1.0% depending on the degree of conditioning desired. In hair conditioner products, about 0.5 to 1.0% are typical use levels.

Cola®Mid CMA is a 1:1 coconut monoethanolamide supplied as a easy-to-handle, flake for use as a thickener and foam stabilizer in personal care products. It is very mild to the skin and eyes, and is a good viscosity booster and foam stabilizer. This product provides a good, smooth after-feel.

Cola® Lipid SAFL is multifunctional, natural triglyceride organic phospholipid complex. It is designed to mimic natural phospholipids that occur naturally in the body and deposits essential fatty acids on skin. Cola® Lipid SAFL is derived from sustainable pure safflower oil and is highly substantive to hair and skin. Safflower oil contains a high level (80%) of linoleic acid, and it provides one of the principal essential fatty acids that is needed to maintain healthy skin. By taking advantage of this oil's unique composition, Cola® Lipid SAFL offers a combination of performance properties for personal and health care applications never before achieved with one single ingredient.

Cola®Lux SO provides good detergency, exceptionally high foaming, and viscosity forming properties. It can be formulated with anionic, nonionic, and cationic materials. This product is recommended for shampoos, bubble baths, hand soaps, air conditioners, cream rinses, creams and lotions, shaving creams, household products, and industrial and institutional products.

Cola®Liquid DT-2 is a non-ionic 2:1 diisopropanolamine (DIPA) amide of tall oil fatty acids. Colonial Chemical’s Cola®Liquid products consist of completely liquid, consumer acceptable non-DEA amides that perform like traditional alkanolamide surfactants. Cola®Liquid DT-2 can be used as a substitute for 2:1 DEA amides in any application where traditional alkanolamide surfactants have been used. Cola®Liquid DT-2 is effective in a wide variety of household and industrial products.

Cola®Mine RA-26 has viscosity and suspension capabilities in alkaline cleaners such as  waterless hand cleaners and formulas containing pumice or calcium carbonate.

Cola®Mulse CS205 is a non-ionic emulsifier designed to enhance water sheeting and aid drying in rinse aid formulations. Cola®Mulse CS205 may be used as a co-emulsifier with Cola®Mulse CS300.

Cola®Mid 16 is a unique non-ionic surfactant for use in a variety of applications. Cola®Mid 16 has excellent corrosion inhibition properties on metal and has use in lubricants as both an emulsifier and a corrosion inhibitor. Cola®Mid 16 is also useful in preparing water-in-oil invert emulsions for polymerization, leading to high molecular weight polymers such as those used in water treatment. Cola®Mid 16 is also useful as a low HLB emulsifier in all continuous phase emulsions.

Cola®Mate LA-40 is a very light colored, mild sulfosuccinate surfactant derived from natural lauryl alcohol. It is made from lauryl alcohol of vegetable origin, making the overall product more than 45% vegetable derived. This product is sulfate free, ethoxylate free, and 1,4-dioxane-free, making it an ideal product for natural based, sulfate-free formulations. It provides very dense, voluminous foam when used to formulate personal cleansers.

Cola®Zolines, chemically described as 1–hydroxyethyl 2–alkyl imidazolines, are classified as cationic surface active agents. Cola®Zolines and their acid salts offer the following functional properties: wetting, emulsifying, detergency, thickening, moisture displacing, corrosion inhibiting, and antistatic effects. These functional properties are useful in agricultural emulsions, industrial cleaners, paints/coatings, plastics, and petroleum applications.

Cola®Mate OPV is a vegetable derived sulfosuccinate half ester of oleamide MIPA. It is a very mild surfactant to both eye and skin. When blended with high foaming anionic surfactants, this product will reduce irritation without significantly reducing foam. Cola®Mate OPV also responds readily to viscosity builders, such as, amides, betaines and salts.

Cola®Dol 173B is a moderate foam nonionic performance blend of ethoxylated alcohols effective in transportation cleaning and industrial degreasing. The combination of ethoxylates provides excellent wetting, emulsification and detergency.

Cola®Teric SLAA is a mild surfactant designed for use in personal care applications. It is compatible with anionic and cationic surfactants and is suggest to be used in shampoos, bubble baths, bath gels and body washes. This product will increase foam, mildness, and viscosity in most anionic/amphoteric formulations.

Cola®Teric 2C is a coco imidazoline-derived dicarboxylic acid amphoteric. It is one of mildest amphoteric surfactants of its class, provides a moderate lather and cleans without removing dermal lipids from the skin to give a rich, conditioning effect. Cola®Teric 2C is stable over a wide pH range and useful for institutional cleaners. Cola®Teric 2C is ideal for use in a wide range of cosmetic applications, including shampoos, hand and facial cleaners, baby wipes, and bath products.

Cola®Terge APDC is a cost effective, 100% active, liquid detergent concentrate that can be readily diluted and modified to develop a wide range of low cost, yet high performance household and industrial products. Cola®Terge APDC contributes high foaming, detergency, low irritation and excellent hard water tolerance. It is ideal for use in hand soaps, all purpose cleaners, and solvent cleaners.

Cola® Det EQ-18 is a sulfate-free, gentle, concentrated blend of surfactants for use as a base for high-foam personal care products. The eco-friendly blend is free of alcohol, diethanolamides, lauryl sulfates, laureth sulfates, parabens and formaldehyde. The surfactant ingredients in this blend originate from natural, renewable resources. Cola®Det EQ-18 responds gently to viscosity-building with the simple addition of sodium chloride.

Cola® Lac 426 is an amido amine lactate used in the formulation of conditioners in hair and skin care products. Unlike quaternary ammonium cationics, Cola® Lac 426 rinses quickly and prevents tangling without reducing foam. Cola® Lac 426 is also compatible with anionic surfactants and may be used in formulations for clear shampoo and skin cleansers.

Cola®Nol 14 is a PEG-free distilled polyglycerol ester based on vegetable oleic acid. It is an excellent emulsifier enabling water and oil to mix with good heat and cold stability. Cola®Nol 14 is compatible with all kinds of cosmetic oils and active ingredients with very pleasant application properties.

Colonial 18-S is fatty amido-functional tertiary amine in flaked form. It may be neutralized with a variety of acids to form a cationic amine salt. This product is produced from a high purity vegetable-derived grade of stearic acid.Colonial 18-S is useful as the primary ingredient for a conditioner, finishing rinse, or cream rinse. Amine salts offer a major advantage over quaternary ammonium compounds in that they can more easily be rinsed from the hair and reduce conditioner buildup. Blended with a proper co-emulsifier, both opaque or pearly conditioner formulations can be commercially developed.

Cola®Lux C-8 is an octyldimethylamine oxide from a narrow cut amine, that provides good wetting and very low foaming characteristics. It is compatible with cost surfactants and because there are no amide or ester groups in its chemical structure, Cola®Lux C-8 will not hydrolyze in acid formulations. Cola®Lux C-8 is also stable in highly alkaline and strong electrolyte systems. Cola®Lux C-8 is also uselful in hydrogen peroxide and sodium hypochlorite formulations, providing increased strike for better performance.

Cola®Quat HRC is a quaternary designed to give exceptional performance in hair and skin products. It has been found through extensive testing, to be an excellent hair rinse conditioner. This product is a superior product when compared to other quaternaries such as Quaternium 16, stearyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, and polymers based on PVP and cellulosics.

Cola®Mulse CS450 is a non-flammable cationic emulsifier designed to create microemulsions of mineral seal oil and other hydrophobes in water. The combination of this powerful cationic surfactant with the mineral seal oil makes very effective drying agents for automatic car wash systems to remove water with balanced beading and sheeting actions.

Cola®Trope INC is a versatile, low foaming anionic surfactant/hydrotrope and designed for the use of coupling nonionics and other surfactants into products where high levels of electrolytes may be present. It is especially effective in formulating alkaline built liquid detergent concentrates. This product is not generally intended for low pH systems.

Cola®Mine CDM is a modified 2:1 cocamide diethanolamide that functions as an excellent detergent and emulsifier. The amide, diethanolamine, and soap content vary in each Cola®Mine product depending on the intended function. Cola®Mine CDM provides excellent soil dispersing, potent wetting, good lubricity, and rust inhibition characteristics in hard surface cleaners, chain lubricants, and vibratory finishing compounds.

Cola® Cor 300 is a water-soluble carboxylate corrosion inhibitor designed for metalworking, detergent and aerosol applications. Aqueous solutions are very low foaming and provide effective corrosion protection at typical in use treat levels (0.5-1.0%). For optimum rust protection, solution pH should be adjusted to 8.5 or greater. Cola®Cor 300 exhibits excellent tolerance to water hardness and aqueous films dry to tack free residues. Environmentally safe; does not contain boron, phosphates, chromates, nitrites or metallic cations.

Cola®Lipid SIL is a multifunctional, natural triglyceride phospholipid similar to phospholipids that occur naturally in the body. It can be used in a variety of personal care products. This product is non-irritating to the eyes and skin, reduces irritation of anionic activity, and repairs damaged skin and hair.

Cola®Teric HLA and Cola®Teric HFA are high foaming amphoteric surfactants that provide outstanding hydrotroping properties in high electrolyte systems. Additionally, they contribute to wetting, detergency, and rinsibility. These high foaming amphoterics produce a stable, slow draining, dense foam, and is ideally suited for use in household and industrial cleaners, mild personal care cleansers, and oilfield related foamers.

Cola® Cor 400 is a water-soluble corrosion inhibitor designed for use in various metalworking, detergent and aerosol applications. Aqueous solutions are very low foaming and will provide effective corrosion protection at recommended use concentrations. The performance properties of Cola® Cor 400 are not affected by water hardness, and aqueous films dry down to non-tacky residues. Cola® Cor 400 demonstrates more potent corrosion inhibiting properties than traditionally used carboxylic types. Cola® Cor 400 is currently being used successfully in low foam, alkaline spray washes for rust protection, as well as, for improved wetting/rinsibility at 0.1-0.3% active.

Cola®Det OKC-40 is ideal for formulators seeking organic certification who plan to label their products as “Made with Organic…” and be in certified compliance with the National Organic Program (7CFR Part 205). Cola®Det OKC-40 is derived from 70% or greater raw ingredients and is processed to meet the Certified Organic requirements. Cola®Det OKC-40 is a pure potassium cocoate soap that exhibits excellent flash foam, good color and low odor. Cola®Det OKC-40 is biodegradable, made from natural and renewable resources, and preservative-free – making it ideal for natural formulations, including high-lathering soaps and cost-effective cleansers.

Cola®Teric CA-35 is a high foaming amphoteric surfactant with a low toxicity profile, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It produces high foam and dense lather. This product is recommended for liquid soaps, shampoos, car washes, and foaming caustic cleaners.

Cola®Mate DSLS is a very mild, nearly colorless, sulfosuccinate derived from a three mole ethoxylated lauryl alcohol. It provides excellent foam properties which can be enhanced by blending with sodium laureth sulfate. The combination of these two surfactants provides a product that is mild to both skin and eye, has good foam performance, and improves viscosity response.

Colonial DF-20 is an anionic modified polyether that behaves as an anionic in alkali concentrates but displays nonionic cloud point behavior in diluted use solutions. This unique surfactant is intended for use in highly alkaline, built liquid cleaner concentrates. Colonial DF-20 exhibits very low foam and excellent hard-surface detergency when used at temperatures above its cloud point in use solutions. It is very eff ective in power-wash metal cleaners, low foam fl oor cleaners, steam cleaners, liquid dishwashing compounds and other low-foam cleaning applications.

Cola®Teric CBS-HP is a glycerin-free amphoteric surfactant in the sultaine class. It exhibits outstanding surface activity, wetting, foaming, and compatibility in a wide variety of applications. Due to its amphoteric nature, Cola®Teric CBS-HP is compatible with cationic, anionic, and nonionic surfactants. The compatibility and stability of formulations containing Cola®Teric CBS-HP are maintained over a broad pH range.

Cola®Mulse CS300 is a cationic emulsifier designed to enhance water beading and aid drying in rinse aid formulations. To improve sheeting beading balance, Cola®Mulse CS400 or Cola®Mulse CS205 may be used as coemulsifiers.
