Suga®Nate 160NC is a naturally-derived, high-performance surfactant that provides numerous advantages for a variety of formulations. Using Suga®Nate 160NC, formulators can start with a high-foaming product and build to preferred esthetic properties, without concerns of irritation to eyes and skin. Suga®Nate 160NC is also very low in toxicity and cost-effective when compared to other surfactants used in typical sulfate-free formulations.

Cola®Quat SME is a cationic surfactant designed to neutralize a wide range of odors. The ingredient functions by complexing or neutralizing specific organic molecules and reducing their concentration in the vapor phase. Its low active level and full solubility in water makes it ideal for consumer deodorizer applications such as space deodorizers, carpet deodorizers, hard surface deodorizers, kitty litter and pet care. The ingredient may be used in a variety of personal care, household and industrial applications to reduce unpleasant odors.

Suga®Det Mild is a mild, naturally-derived concentrated blend of sulfate-free surfactants for use as a base for personal care cleansing products. This blend is free of ethoxylates (1,4-dioxane), alcohols, diethanolamides, lauryl sulfates, laureth sulfates, parabens, and formaldehyde. Suga®Det Mild features Suga®Nate 160NC, Colonial’s 100% natural APG-based surfactant that offers high foam and unparalleled mildness. The remaining surfactant ingredients in the blend are also derived from natural, renewable resources.

Cola® Lipid C is a coconut oil derived phospholipid composed predominantly of diester and triester phosphatides with multiplechain groups. Cola® Lipid C displays a broad range of functional attributes including gentle cleansing and foaming properties, antiirritation eff ects when combined with anionic surfactants, unusually high substantivity, long-lasting skin conditioning, and broad spectrum antimicrobial activity.

Cola® Det DEF-61 is a betaine-free surfactant blend with 40% solids designed for liquid mild cleansing formulations such as shampoos, liquid hand soaps, facial and body washes, and feminine products. Cola®Det DEF-61 contains no betaines, sulfates, Diethanolamine (DEA), Ethylene Oxide (EO)/1,4-Dioxane and is shipped preservative-free. Cola® Det DEF-61 builds thick, creamy foam volume with eff ective viscosity response to salt. The concentrate is cold mixable and off ers ease of handling for transport, storage and mixing considerations.

Colonial SCS is a sodium coco-sulfate derived from 100% natural coconut oil. In the needle form, the product is free flowing and disperses easily in water. Heat is required to fully dissolve the product. Colonial SCS provides excellent lather, thickening and conditioning properties. It is also an excellent replacement for most anionic surfactants in personal cleansing products.

Cola® Det EQ-18 is a sulfate-free, gentle, concentrated blend of surfactants for use as a base for high-foam personal care products. The eco-friendly blend is free of alcohol, diethanolamides, lauryl sulfates, laureth sulfates, parabens and formaldehyde. The surfactant ingredients in this blend originate from natural, renewable resources. Cola®Det EQ-18 responds gently to viscosity-building with the simple addition of sodium chloride.

Cola®Teric is a coco-betaine made from a natural cocoamine source. It is functional in industrial and household formulations as well as personal care products. This product is soluble in both acid and alkaline pH. This biodegradable, high foamer is an excellent choice for formulating “green” products.

Cola®Teric SLAA is a mild surfactant designed for use in personal care applications. It is compatible with anionic and cationic surfactants and is suggest to be used in shampoos, bubble baths, bath gels and body washes. This product will increase foam, mildness, and viscosity in most anionic/amphoteric formulations.

Cola® Det EQ-154 is a high foam, spray-dried surfactant blend. It is very mild to both skin and eyes and quickly dispersible in hot or cold water. This product is recommended for powdered products where mildness is important, such as bubble baths and syndet bars. Cola® Det EQ-154 has excellent foam performance.

Suga®Nate 100NC is a surfactant based on the renewable resources of corn and coconut. It is extremely mild when tested against other traditional primary personal cleansing surfactants such as sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium coco sulfate, sodium lauryl ether sulfate and alpha olefin sulfonate. This product is recommended for shampoos, bath gels, body washes, facial cleansers, makeup removers, baby products, and bath foams.

Cola®Det L116N is is a mild, non-alkanolamide, high-foaming concentrate. It displays multifunctional properties including good detergency and high foaming even at low active levels. Cola®Det L116N generates excellent viscosity and is ideal for use in non-alkanolamide shampoos, bath products, skin cleansers, and light-duty laundry detergents.

Cola® Lipid SAFL is multifunctional, natural triglyceride organic phospholipid complex. It is designed to mimic natural phospholipids that occur naturally in the body and deposits essential fatty acids on skin. Cola® Lipid SAFL is derived from sustainable pure safflower oil and is highly substantive to hair and skin. Safflower oil contains a high level (80%) of linoleic acid, and it provides one of the principal essential fatty acids that is needed to maintain healthy skin. Cola® Lipid GS is a multifunctional, natural triglyceride phospholipid similar to phospholipids that occur naturally in the body. It can be used in a variety of personal care products. This product is non-irritating to the eyes and skin, reduces irritation of anionic activity, and repairs damaged skin and hair.

Cola®Lux O2 is an amine oxide that provides excellent viscosity building, foam stability and moderate foam boosting. Cola®Lux O2 is compatible with most surfactants and will not hydrolyze in acid or alkaline systems due to the absence of amide or ester groups. Used in low concentrations, Cola®Lux O2 provides a silky feel to body washes, liquid hand soaps and other skin cleansers. Cola®Lux O2 may also function as a viscosity builder and an anti-static agent. Cola®Lux O2 is shipped preservative-free.

Cola®Det KC-40 is a pure potassium cocoate soap that exhibits excellent flash foam, good color and low odor. Cola®Det KC-40 is biodegradable, made from natural and renewable resources, and preservative-free – making it ideal for natural formulations, including highlathering soaps and cost-effective cleansers.

Poly Suga®Nate 160P NC is a sulfonated surfactant polymer based on high molecular weight alkyl polyglucoside polymers. Poly Suga®Nate 160P NC is a naturallyderived, high-performance surfactant that provides numerous advantages for a variety of formulations. PolySuga®Nate 160P NC is extremely mild to both eyes and skin compared to traditional anionic primary personal care surfactants.

Cola® Det DEF-25 is an anionic/nonionic/amphoteric surfactant blend. This DEA-free synergistic blend of surfactants provides great foaming and viscosity building in an easy-to-use blend. Upon dilution, Cola® Det DEF-25 can be used in a variety of applications such as shampoos and bath products with a suggested usage of 10% to 40%.

Cola® Det DEF-35 is a high-active liquid pearling agent designed for easy dispersibility at ambient temperatures. Cola® Det DEF-35 is used in pearlescent cosmetic surfactant preparations, particularly for DEA free formulations, and forms an elegant pearl in all liquid personal care formulations. It is added slowly to the batch with moderate agitation to obtain attractive pearlescence and stability. The amount of use will vary from 3-12% based on the pearl effect desired.

Cola®Det EQ-19 is a sulfate-free concentrated blend of mild surfactants useful in formulations of alpha and beta-hydroxyl acid cleansers. It contains surfactants that are hydrolytically stable under moderately acid conditions. This product is easily formulated for facial cleansers, body washes and other foaming washes.

Cola®Lux CAO-35 is an amine oxide that provides good detergency, exceptionally high foaming, and viscosity control properties. When combined in the proper ratio with alkyl sulfates or alkyl ether sulfates, Cola®Lux CAO-35 can be used to develop clear, mild, low pH shampoos/cleansers with substantial conditioning properties. It is useful in a variety of personal care and household applications.

Cola® Det DEF-20 is an anionic/nonionic/amphoteric blend sodium salt. Colonial Chemical’s Cola®Det DEF surfactant concentrates are produced completely DEA/MEA free which generate high viscosity at low solids and produce products that can be built over a wide viscosity range. Elegant and complete products can be easily created that are DEA free with simple addition of perfume, color and other minor ingredients. Cola® Det DEF-20 is designed for personal care formulations that are pH 5.5 to 7.0 and an easy starting point for the creation of many products.

Cola®Det OE is a completely formulated system with mild anionic and amphoteric foaming surfactants and a structuring agent. It is prepared and shipped as an easy-to-use lamellar concentrate, and is designed to produce opaque emulsions of typical triglyceride oils without the use of heat. Up to 20 wt. % of an oil can be fully emulsifi ed into water for a stable dispersion. The resulting product can be more fully viscosified with the inclusion of polymeric agents such as guar, xanthan, or cellulosic gums.

Cola® Det DEF-15 is an anionic/nonionic/amphoteric blend sodium salt. Colonial Chemical’s Cola® Det DEF surfactant concentrates are produced completely DEA/MEA free which generate high viscosity at low solids and produce products that can be built over a wide viscosity range. Elegant and complete products can be easily created that are DEA free with simple addition of perfume, color and other minor ingredients. Cola® Det DEF-15 is designed to give the formulator an easy starting point for the creation of personal care products with luxuriant foam and good rinsing.

Cola®Lux LO is an amine oxide that provides good detergency, exceptionally high foaming, and viscosity forming properties. This product is recommended for shampoos, handsoaps, bath products, creams and lotions, hair conditioners, dishwashing detergents, cleansers, and hard surface cleansers.

Cola® Det DEF-20P is an anionic/nonionic/amphoteric blend sodium salt. Colonial Chemical’s Cola® Det DEF surfactant concentrates are produced completely DEA/MEA free which generate high viscosity at low solids and produce products that can be built over a wide viscosity range. Elegant and complete products can be easily created that are DEA free with simple addition of perfume, color and other minor ingredients. Cola® Det DEF-20P is a pearlized version of Cola® Det DEF-20 designed for personal care formulations that are pH 5.0 to 6.5 and an easy starting point for the creation of many products.

Cola®Liquid DO is a liquid, non-ionic surfactant that is used to improve foam, viscosity and feel properties of personal care formulations. It is recommended for shampoos, bubble baths, hand soaps, body washes, and hand gels.

Cola® Det DEF-26 is a betaine-free anionic/nonionic/amphoteric surfactant blend. This DEA and MEA-free synergistic blend of surfactants is a high active surfactant base developed specially for use in the preparation of hair shampoos and skin cleanser systems. Cola® Det DEF-26 is an easy-to-use blend that readily yields high-foaming, completely formulated products with simple water dilution. Viscosity of the final formulation can then easily be adjusted with precise electrolyte additions.

Cola®Liquid DL is a liquid, non-ionic surfactant that is used to improve foam, viscosity and feel properties of personal care formulations. It is recommended for shampoos, bubble baths, hand soaps, body washes, and hand gels.

Colonial SLES-60 is a biodegradable linear fatty alcohol ether sulfate. It is a clear liquid of exceptionally light color and good odor. Colonial SLES-60 is mild with excellent detergent and foaming properties in hard and soft water and is compatible with other anionics, nonionics, and alkaline builders.

Poly Suga®Quat S-1210P is derived from polymerized alkyl polyglucosides. It provides substantivity to skin and hair, much more so than their nonionic APG precursors. This product is recommended for hair conditioners, clear 2-in-1 shampoos, body washes, detanglers, clear hair rinse, styling products, baby products, hand sanitizers, relaxers, and shower gels. It has a low irritation profile, superior hair conditioning, no greasy build-up, excellent wet comb properties, and helps control flyaway hair.

Cola® Det BSC-ND is a DEA-free, anionic and amphoteric concentrated blend of mild surfactants. With only dilution and minor additives, Cola® Det BSC-ND can be economically formulated into marketable pet products that provide mildness while off ering foam and viscosity equal or greater than leading brand pet shampoos.

Lauramidopropyl Hydroxysultaine​. Cola®Teric LMHS is compatible with anionic, nonionic, amphoteric and cationic surfactants. When compared to lauramidopropyl betaine, Cola®Teric LMHS exhibits excellent dispersing, emulsifying, antistatic characteristics and better flash foam and viscosity building capacity with lauryl sulfates and alpha olefin sulfonates. Cola®Teric LMHS is stable over a broad pH range in both hard and soft water with excellent lime soap dispersing properties. Cola®Teric LMHS is fully biodegradable.

Cola®Mate SI is an extra mild sulfosuccinate surfactant derived from watersoluble silicone copolymer. It is useful in non-irritating skin cleansing and specialty applications. This product imparts foam that is easily rinsed and reduces the irritation of other anionics when formulated together. Cola®Mate SI is signifi cantly milder than SLS, SLES-2 and Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate. In facial cleansing this mild character will reduce the irritation coming from harsh anionic surfactants.

Colonial SLES-2 is a sodium salt of lauryl alcohol ethoxy sulfate containing an average of 2 moles of ethylene oxide. It is a light liquid of medium viscosity, sparkling clarity and mild odor. Colonial SLES-2 is biodegradable.
