Color Image Plastic Compound (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (CIPC) is a high tech company specialize in developing and selling high performance engineering plastic compound.

CIPC was formed in November 2000 as a wholly owned subsidiary company of Idealpoly Corporation Sdn Bhd. Initially CIPC has just started selling normal pre colored ABS and HIPS unfilled material for one of the renowned Japanese air conditioning manufacturer. Due to our quality consistency and competitive pricing, CIPC has been appointed by Total Petrochemical South East Asia as a long term UL recognized toll compounder for some world class companies such as Hewlett Packard, Sony and Matsushita.

In March 2002, CIPC started to venture into developing manufacturing high end engineering plastic compound. Our manufacturing plant is situated in Balakong industrial park, Selangor with a total production capacity of approximately 28,000 metric ton per year. Our engineering plastic compound mainly supplying to electronic, automotive, electrical home appliances, construction, communication and sport equipment market.

Electroblend is CIPC's line of conductive and statically dissipative compounds by incorporating electrically conductive and/or reinforcing filters such as carbon fiber and stainless steel fibers to produce compound with its resistivity range from 100 to 1000 ohms/sq mainly serving the electronic packaging and business machines markets. The key features of Electroblend compounds are to protect against static buildup and to insulate against current leakage. Typical applications are IC chips tray, tweetzer, carrier tape etc.

Flexiblend® compound is our company’s range of rubber modified polypropylene compounds developed mainly for applications requiring different range of flexibility and impact strength by incorporating varying levels of mineral fillers and impact modifiers. Flexiblend® is developed by combining the inherent flexible properties of natural rubber with the superb processibility of rubber modified thermoplastic compound. Flexiblend® compounds feature izod impact strength range from 80J/m to 580 J/m and flexibility range from shore A 70 to shore D 80. Flexiblend can be processed by using hi speed and precise injection molding, sheet extrusion machines or blow molding machines to make products with different flexibility and hardness

Toughblend compounds is made from a wide selection of base resins blended with reinforcers such as glass fiber, glass beads and carbon fiber. Toughblend compound is an excellent alternative to metal in application for products require improved mechanical properties, special toughness, dimensional stability, temperature and chemically resistance. As compared to neat resins, Toughblend offers spectacular improvements in terms of tensile strength, toughness ad other properties. As compared to metal, Toughblend allows product engineers more freedom to design injection molded parts with the benefits of lighter part weight which leads to better cost competitiveness. Most Toughblend compounds also come with some other properties such as flame retardant, wear resistant, lubricated and color.

Loyblend is CIPC line of thermoplastics alloy such as PC/ABS and PC/PBT with different flow and thermal properties. Loyblend PC/ABS is a compounded blend of polycarbonate and ABS. The PC contributes impact and heat distortion resistance, while the ABS contributes processability and chemical stress resistance. Loyblend PC/ABS is used for portable appliances, handphones, printer enclosures, automotive instrument panel retainers, laptop computer cases, camera housings, disk drives chassis etc. Loyblend PC/PBT is a compounded blend of Polycarbonate and PBT. The PC contributes impact, stiffness and heat resistance while the PBT contributes chemical resistance. The usual moisture sensitivity of the crystalline PBT is overcome by the PC in the blend. Loyblend PC/PBT is used in automotive side moldings, lawn and garden hoods, hand tools housings etc.

Mineralblend® compounds combine copolymer polyolefin with calcium carbonate, mica, tale and wollastonite for improved rigidity, dimensional stability, heat deflection temperature, creep resistant. Mineralblend® is a good alternative to Glass Fiber reinforced polypropylene compound for less demanding application. Mineralblend® is widely used in automotive bumpers, automotive headlamp housing, badges/license plate holders, body side moldings, motorcycle leg shield, elegant furniture, home appliances housings etc. All Mineralblend® compounds can be colored to meet stringent esthetic requirements. Product development personnel can opt for Mineralblend to replace PVC compound as it is less toxic and less abrasive for mold and toolings.

FRblend is CIPC's line of flame retardant compounds with FR UL94 ratings from V-1 to V-0 at 1.6mm and 0.8mm thickness mainly for electrical applications such as circuit breaker, socket backplate, electrical bobbin etc. Besides the flammability concerns, our engineers also formulate FRblend to meet other stringent properties such as flow characteristics, thermal stress, excellent impact strength by incorporating additives and/or fillers. FRblend can also be colored to meet stringent esthetic requirements.

Smoothblend wear resistant compounds offer superior lubricity by incorporating PTFE, Silicone and / or aramid fiber for applications demanding stringent wear resistant properties such as mechanical gears and moving mechanical parts. Smoothblend compounds is also formulated to meet stringent mechanical and thermal properties by incorporating reinforcing and / or mineral fillers. moothblend compounds are made from engineering thermoplastics such as Acetal, Polycarbonate, Nylon, ABS, PPO etc. This compounds help eliminate tedious and time consuming jobs relating to frequent physical external surface lubrication of machine and equipments moving components which results in highly durable and hassle free performance. Smoothblend can also be formulated to be acid and corrosion resistance which makes it a far better alternative to metals.

Toughblend PP-1200 is a glass fiber reinforced coupled polypropylene compound. It's offering high rigidity and high heat deflection temperatures along with very good creep resistance.

FRblend ABS-1301 is an unfilled, halogen-free flame retardant acrylonitrile butadiene styrene compound. The flame retardant system is based on non-chlorinated and non-brominated.

Loyblend TK-1000 is an impact modified alloy of Polycarbonate and Polyethylene terephthalate polymer. This grade offers good impact resistance. good dimensional stability and high heat resistance.

Toughblend-PC-1200 is a glass fiber reinforced compound with good surface finish and high rigidity.

Electrobland PC-2801 is a carbon fiber reinforced, flame retardant polycarbonate compound. This grade offers good moldability and electrically conductive.

LoyblendTY-1000 is a high impact compounded blend of polycarbonate and polybutylene terephathalate. This grade offers good chemical resistance, good dimensional stability and high heat resistance.

Loyblend® TY-1000

Loyblend-YA-1001FR is 20% mineral filled flame retardant PBT/ABS polymer alloy compound. This grade offers excellent flame retardancy, low wear and low warping properties. This grade is developed mainly for portable appliances, printer enclosure, electrical electronic applications etc.

Loyblend HA-1300 is high flow PMMA ABS polymer alloy. This grade offers high hardness, good scratch resistance and excellent weathering resistance with a high gloss surface.
