Pepper II perennial ryegrass was selected with salt tolerance in mind, and one of the most effcient ways to improve the health of the turfgrass in salinity stress situations is to select and use salt tolerant varieties like Pepper II. Its salt and drought tolerance provide an excellent turf under the most extreme conditions. First year NTEP results show that Pepper II has excellent salt tolerance, dark color, winter color and Spring green up. Pepper II is a genetically dark variety with excellent wear tolerance. Pepper II is highly recommended for use on golf courses, parks, home lawns, commercial properties and high salinity areas where a fast establishing, high quality turf stand is desired.

Winterlinks is a newer generation dark green cultivar that more closely complements the color of perennial ryegrass and creeping bentgrass. Winterlinks exhibits excellent overall turf quality with dark green color, fine leaf texture, medium to early maturity, and low growth habit. Winterlinks has moderate resistance to Brown Patch, Stem Rust, Powdery Mildew and Red Thread. Winterlinks performs well in cold temperatures and shade. It’s close mowing tolerance and upright growth habit makes it ideal for overseeding on golf course greens.

P.T. Cruiser consists of two varieties; Winter links, Winter play, and Winter way that are top performing Poa Trivialis varieties that have been formulated to provide improved performance on southern over-seeded tees, greens and fairways or permanent turf situations in cooler climates for shade. Scientific results have proven that using blends enhance genetic diversity. Genetic diversity provides improved germination and establishment plus greater resistance to pests, diseases, or other environmental stresses.

Winterway is a high quality turfgrass that exhibits improved turf density, fine leaf texture, and medium-dark green color. Winterway is excellent choice for a mono stand or as a component of a overseeding mixture. It can also be used in mixtures designed for cold and wet conditions. Winterway can handle a close cut, it has recovery capacity, and excellent trafffic tolerance which makes it ideal for overseeding on southern golf course greens. Winterway establishes quickly and provides excellent coverage. Winterway has good resistance to Leaf Spot, Rust, Summer patch, and Dollar spot.
