About Us

"Composite Essential Materials came to fruition when Nick and Maritsa Dan refused to let a legacy die. 30 years ago, Nida-Core dared to introduce rigid elastic technology to the US using Nidaplast SAS structural honeycombs as it's marquis product. As a leader in the industry, the name Nida-Core became synonymous with lightweight, strong, rot-proof and composite solution. In 2011, 3M, the world’s leader in innovation acquired Nida-Core. After two short years, 3M decided to discontinue their composites division. With such an overwhelmingly awesome product portfolio, the Dan's could not pass up the opportunity to take over the business they had been a part of for the past 15 years."
