Continental Research Corporation Final Strip Plus

Continental Research Corporation Final Strip Plus is a time and labor-saving stripper that works by breaking the molecular “film-forming” bond of floor finishes and waxes. It “re-emulsifies” all but the heaviest finish buildups with or without scrubbing. This allows the stripper to be applied by mop and picked up by mop and bucket or wet vac. Any remaining solution evaporates completely – eliminating the need to rinse before recoating. Unlike ordinary strippers, no alkali film is left behind to prevent the bonding of a new finish to the floor.

Directions For Use

Be sure to follow directions completely:

  • Dust floor and remove gum, soils, etc. Protect furniture and walls.
  • Dilute stripper with hot water from 1:4 to 1:10 for manual stripping depending on fi nish build-up. For automatic scrubbers, dilute up to 1:10.
  • Note - Higher concentrations will increase stripping speed and reduce job time.
  • Apply diluted stripper generously to the floor with a clean mop or spray device to thoroughly wet all surfaces. For Mop-On, Mop-Off Stripping: Allow the solution to stand and soak on the floor for 5 to 10 minutes, to chemically attack, “whiten” and lift fi nish and wax coating. Do not allow the floor to dry. Then follow Step 5.
  • For faster fi nish removal: Scrub with a brush or a machine with a stripping pad to break up and solubilize floor coating. Allow the solution to remain an additional 3 to 5 minutes after scrubbing.
  • Pick up solution THOROUGHLY with a mop, squeegee, wet vacuum or automatic scrubber. NOTE: Extra care should be taken in this step. Failure to thoroughly remove solubilized fi nish and stripper solution may result in unsatisfactory results from the new application of fi nish.
  • Allow the floor to dry completely. Once the entire floor has been stripped, dust mop completely using a clean, dry dust mop. Apply finish.
