We offer solid, hollow, coated, monodisperse, spacer grade, and density marker beads. Solid and hollow glass, silica, PMMA, polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene, silver-coated glass, aluminum-coated retroreflective particles, TiO2-coated spheres and more unique beads in diameters from below 1micron to 15mm. We specialize in manufacturing custom spheres with specific density between 0.95g/cc and 1.3g/cc, particles with exceptional sphericity and tight size distribution, as well as spheres for PIV and flow visualization studies."

Cospheric Clear Polyethylene Microspheres 0.96g/cc - 1um to 1700um (1.7mm) is in dry powder form. No solvents, additives, or colorants are used in the manufacturing process. Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.

Cospheric LLC Clear Polyethylene Microspheres 0.96g/cc - 1um to 1700um (1.7mm)

Cospheric Fluorescent Red Polyethylene Microspheres 1.050g/cc - 45um to 500um (0.5mm) are bright fluorescent red microspheres supplied in dry powder form. Fluorescent particles of known density and particle diameter range are often used in density-matching for flow visualization and analysis of fluid flow in a device. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution. Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.

Cospheric LLC Fluorescent Red Polyethylene Microspheres 1.050g/cc - 45um to 500um (0.5mm)

Cospheric Black Paramagnetic Polyethylene Microspheres 1.2g/cc - 10um to 1400um (1.4mm) have the ability to increase their magnetization with an applied magnetic field and decrease their magnetism when the field is removed. No residual magnetization is observed which provides practical advantages for end uses, including ease of separation and suitability for automation. When the magnetic field is removed, the microspheres demagnetize and redisperse easily. No solvents are used in the manufacturing process. The microspheres are highly opaque particles with maximum hiding power. Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.

Cospheric Fluorescent Green Polyethylene Microspheres 1.015g/cc - 355um to 500um (0.5mm) are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. Cospheric Fluorescent Green Polyethylene Microspheres 1.00g/cc - 10um to 1400um (1.4mm) are bright fluorescent green microspheres supplied in dry powder form and specifically designed with density ~1g/cc for suspension in fresh water, enabling flow visualization and analysis of fluid flow in a device. Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution.

Cospheric Janus Particles - Hemispherically Coated Microspheres - Half-Shell Color Coating on Polymer Spheres are microspheres with dual-functionality. We specialize in creating hemispherical coatings on microspheres of any material with diameters greater than 45micron. Custom colors, cores, sizes can be made as a special order. The spheres were originally developed for very high tolerance electronic digital displays where functionalized janus microspheres are used to create an image that appears to the viewer. Produced under Cosphreic Pat. 8,501,272.

Cospheric Fluorescent Green Polyethylene Microspheres 1.025g/cc - 10um to 1000um (1mm) are bright fluorescent green spherical particles supplied in dry powder form. Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution. These spheres closely resemble the density of blood plasma at 1025 kg/m3.
