Kapton Tape : 1 Mil Kapton Tapes are made from DuPont® Kapton® HN polyimide film with Silicone adhesive. They have been used in applications at temperatures as low as -269℃(-452℉) and as high as 260℃(500℉).

Kapton tape is produced by combining DuPont® Kapton® Type HN Film with high temperature silicone adhesive. Kapton tapes have great electrical, thermal, chemical and mechanical properties that withstand extreme temperature, vibration, and other demanding environments. It is often used in electrical applications such as coil insulation, capacitor and transformer wrapping, magnetic wire insulation, wave soldering and high temperature masking.For electronic components that require extra protection from static discharge, Anti Static (ESD) polyimide tape is available. And for fabricating or mounting applications requiring adhesive on two or both sides double sided polyimide tape is recommended.
