CG 4250 should be applied to parts that are relatively dry, as the water displacing characteristics are limited with this product. CG 4250 should also be avoided if small parts are to be coated and stacked in boxes for storage, as the oily film is thick enough to collect on the surface of small parts and may cause issues during assembly. CG 4250 is to be used straight, do not cut back further with solvent or mix with water.

CG 4250 should be stored at room temperatures (between 55 to 95 °F). Keep away from sparks, open flames, and other sources of ignition as product and empty containers could contain combustible, flammable, or ignitable substances. Do not weld or cut empty drums.
