    • Made of HPMC - Natural Vegetable Raw Materials
      BioV® vegetable capsule is made of HPMC(Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose), which is derived from the pine tree cellulose. HPMC is approved as “Generally Recognized as Safe” (GRAS) by the US FDA. In the US Pharmacopeia (USP), European Pharmacopeia (EP) and the Japanese Pharmacopeia (JP), HPMC has all written as a widely used raw material for pharmaceutical, supplements, and cosmetic formulations. It complies with our customers who have a cultural or vegetarian requirement.
    • Low-moisture content ideal for Hygroscopic and moisture sensitive Ingredient 
      Due to the low water content (<7%) the vegetable capsules are very suitable for hygroscopic and moisture sensitive ingredients. Many natural ingredients of health food or herbal have a strong hygroscopicity which can easily absorb moisture from gelatin capsule, resulting in moisture phenomena such as agglomeration, hardens and fragmentation. Their moisture content is under 7% which is suitable for strong hygroscopic health food and herbal product. 
    • Excellent filling performance on full and semi-automatic machines                                                              
    • BioV® vegetable capsules have excellent machinability on all capsule filling machines.

      BioV® vegetable capsules have no animal protein and fat; unfavorable for microbial breeding and quality stability.
