IMSIL® microcrystalline silica fillers are produced from an inert, naturally occurring alpha quartz with a unique grape-like morphology. Finer micronized grades are useful in formulating higher gloss paints and systems requiring controlled particle top size such as Industrial OEM topcoat coats and non-conductive inks. Intermediate size grades offer ideal and uniform gloss control for topcoats, coil coats and increased inter-coat adhesion between primers and topcoats. Coarser grades offer high solids loading with low viscosity,  texture, anti-skid  and abrasion resistance in industrial floor coatings and exterior deck coatings.

Mistron® 403 Ca is a functional additive with high purity that is particularly suitable for adhesives, caulks, mastics, and sealants. This additive enhances the mechanical properties of these products and imparts hydrophobicity and barrier properties, thereby improving their corrosion resistance. Comprised primarily of talc (hydrous magnesium silicate), chlorite, dolomite, and magnesite, the product is odorless and has a white or off-white to light gray color.

Dar-Tech Hauthane L-3645 is a NMP- and TEA-free, aliphatic, silicone-modified, polyester-based, waterborne polyurethane dispersion. It was designed primarily for topcoat applications where slip resistance and abrasion resistance are required. L-3645 contains a non-fugitive silicone component that provides low surface tension characteristics on flexible and rigid substrates, including leather, plastics, metals, and textiles. It also demonstrates exceptional dye transfer resistance in automotive leather seating and dry-erase white board applications when crosslinked.

AFCONA 6745 is a synergist additive that is specifically designed for use with phthalocyanine pigments, carbon blacks, and organic violets. It should not be used on its own, but rather in combination with one of the AFCONA 4000-series high molecular weight dispersants.

AFCONA 7502 is a reactive polymer coupling agent designed to improve the mechanical properties of highly filled acrylate systems. It couples the fillers and the resin, improving flexural strength, compressive strength, and tensile elasticity. It is recommended for ATH-filled acrylate systems.

DeCAL 1104E is an acrylic copolymer emulsion in water. This medium molecular weight hydrophobic polymer provides a rheological control effect through extensive swelling and association in alkaline conditions. In matt and semi-gloss paint this product improves flow and levelling performance, sag resistance and anti-settling. It also gives much less spattering in paints applied by roller.

HIFILL® Air Floated Clay Filler 17 is a calcium carbonate filler and reinforcer that is produced from a uniquely occurring, high-brightness calcite feedstock. HIFILL® grades have low oil absorption, which can help maximize loading levels in either water- or solvent-based systems with only a minimal impact on viscosity.

Its high molecular weight and pH-independent nature provide good stability performance with all types of pigments. It is a modified polyacrylate polymer that helps to deflocculate pigments in water-based decorative and industrial paints.

Dar-Tech Portaryte® B5 is produced from carefully selected, very white, naturally occurring baryte. The standardized quality of Dar-Tech Portaryte® is guaranteed by means of an ISO 9001-certified quality management plan. The chemical composition of the raw material and the finished product is closely monitored, and the particle size is kept within a narrow variation. Fine grades of Dar-Tech Portaryte® fillers have been specially developed for powder coating applications. They are successfully used as an alternative for fine synthetic blanc fixe in high-gloss applications.

Dar-Tech Hauthane L-3529 is a solvent-free, flexible, aliphatic, polycarbonate-polyurethane dispersion. It was designed primarily for use on flexible substrates as a coating, saturant, or impregnating agent. It may be blended with L-3528 to increase hardness. This grade can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. It may be thickened with associative thickeners for knife-over-rolling or similar methods.

AFCONA 1503 is a universal dispersing resin for preparation of VOC-free universal pigment concentrates for water based. It is a dispersing resin with self-emulsifying properties. AFCONA 1503 in combination with AFCONA 4560 has been developed to be considered suitable for the production of VOC-free pigment concentrates.

The product offers a combination of compatibility with good defoaming and de-aeration properties, making it very suitable for clear coat applications.

DeCAL 4040 offers good block resistance, good compatibility with associative thickeners, and fast drying.

AFCONA 3251 is an additive designed to offer the highest slip in all solvent-based coatings without stabilizing foam. AFCONA 3251 is specially developed for solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. Its performance is similar to AFCONA 3250, only with better leveling.

DeCAL 1900 is a novel polymer emulsion suitable for thickening non-aqueous liquids, including hydrocarbon-based solvents such as kerosene and mineral oil. DeCAL 1900 may also be used to thicken oil-based paint systems. DeCAL 1900 provides a shear-thinning type of rheology and also aids in preventing settlement.

AFCONA 7476 is a dispersant with high affinity for acidic and neutral carbon blacks, fiberglass, and other pigments. It is suitable as a dispersing agent for unsaturated polyesters (SMC, BMC, TMC, and pigment concentrates), PVC, epoxies, and polyurethane foams, providing excellent wetting to the glassfiber for faster wetting of resin to the fiberglass and better bond strength and performance in the final product. It is suitable for all types of pigments, from inorganic to organic, as well as carbon black.

AFCONA 4010 is a polymeric dispersant used mainly for inorganic pigments and certain organic pigments. It is principally developed for stabilizing inorganic pigments such as TiO2, iron oxides, and matting agents. It can be used in almost all solvent-based coating systems, because AFCONA 4010 has very good compatibility with almost all resins used in coatings.

A302 can improve the adhesion of organic resins to inorganic substrates such as glass, metals, and mineral fillers. It can also enhance the mechanical properties and durability of the final product. A302 is easy to handle and can be diluted in a variety of solvents.

Nicron® 503 is a high purity, 5-Hegman microcrystalline talc product with minimal viscosity build. Nicron® 503 is part of the Engineered Series of Magris Talc products that offer unique particle size distributions for improved paint performance properties. Nicron® 503 is an excellent choice for modern protective coating applications due to its hydrophobic nature, very low mineral solubility, and proven anti-corrosion performance. Nicron® 503 disperses easily in high-solids and solventborne coatings and gives very good paint stability, rheology, and anti-settling properties.

AFCONA 2021 is a silicone-free defoamer with balanced performance for compatibility and defoaming, ideal for use in various coating systems. It can prevent air entrapment during stirring and pumping, and is especially suited for solvent-based coatings where foam formation is an issue when spraying or brushing.

AFCONA 6530 is a paint additive classified and labeled according to the CLP regulation. Its rheology properties depend on the interaction of dispersed particles in aqueous systems, and can be improved through the formation of hydrogen bonds, leading to a non-Newtonian pseudoplastic fluid with improved settlement prevention and anti-flooding properties in thick-film coatings.

Mistron® Vapor is a high-brightness, high-purity, platy talc with more than 97% talc content. Mistron® Vapor is used for pitch control in all types of pulp and paper mills. Mistron® Vapor is also available in compacted form to improve flow characteristics and minimize dusting.

DeCAL 4202 is an acrylic binder ideally suited for use in water-based flexographic inks for paper and corrugated board. It possesses excellent machine stability and resolubility, viscosity/pH stability, favorable viscosity/dilution curves, and excellent pigment wetting characteristics. It is supplied in its neutralized varnish form.

Silverline 002 is an off-white, high-purity, platy talc that is used in different applications. In plastics, Silverline 002 is used in wood plastic composites (WPC), where it has been found to increase stiffness, reduce water absorption, increase heat distortion temperature, improve dimensional stability, and reduce creep in polyolefin and PVC-based wood plastic composites. In feedstuffs and fertilizers, Silverline 002 is a superior anti-caking/flow control that improves handling characteristics. In agricultural and seed applications, Silverline 002 is an effective carrier and coater. Silverline 002 is approved for use in animal feeds by the Association of American Feed Control Officials under Reference IFN 8-16-378.

ACCESS® AminoKomplex Silane Blend is a specialized blend of amino-functional silanes that can be used as a coupling agent and adhesion promoter in a variety of applications. The clear to slightly opaque, blend consists of a mixture of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and N-beta-(aminoethyl)-gamma-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane, which work synergistically to improve the bonding strength between organic and inorganic materials. AminoKomplex Silane Blend can be used in a range of industries, including adhesives, coatings, and composites, to enhance adhesion to substrates such as glass, metals, and plastics.

Boratherm™ GA 6 is submicron ground alumina produced by the calcination of carefully selected synthetic aluminum hydroxide (ATH). Boratherm™ GA grades are often used in combination with Boratherm™ SA and Boratherm™ SG grades in order to enhance a formulation’s particle packing and flow properties, resulting in improved thermal conductivity and stability (filler-settling). To guarantee a consistent product quality of the Boratherm™ GA grades, the chemical composition of the raw materials and the product particle size of the final products are closely monitored and kept within a narrow variation.

AFCONA 7530 is specifically designed for rheology control and is recommended for use in unsaturated polyester, PVC, epoxy, and flexible PU compounding applications.
