Boratherm™ SA 0700 spherical alumina particles are made from a special fusion process using high-quality ground alumina material. Boratherm™ SA grades are used in various applications because of their high thermal conductivity, heat resistance, and low thermal expansion. Access Rudolf Organosilane C 311 is a bifunctional organosilane that can enhance the adhesion and crosslinking of various coatings and adhesives. It can also improve the water repellency of the treated surfaces, making it suitable for use in many different applications.

DeCAL 4201 is an acrylic binder ideally suited for use in water-based flexographic inks. The product exists as an alkali-soluble carboxylated copolymer emulsion but can also be supplied in its neutralized varnish form as DeCAL 4202. Inks prepared using DeCAL 4201 possess excellent machine stability/resolubility, viscosity/pH stability, favorable viscosity/dilution curves, and excellent pigment wetting characteristics.

Beaverwhite 325 is a functional mineral used in the manufacture of paper, paints, ceramics, plastics, etc. It is mainly composed of talc (hydrous magnesium silicate), chlorite, dolomite, and magnesite. The product is odorless and has a white or off-white to light gray color.

TYTAN™ EHT is a titanium alkoxide. TYTAN™ EHT is used in a variety of industrial applications, e.g., as an esterification and transesterification catalyst, as an olefin polymerization catalyst, as an adhesion promoter, as a crosslinking agent for hydroxylic compounds, and as a component of heat and corrosion resistant paints.

AFCONA 3280 is a special modified polysiloxane that is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones, but insoluble in water. It offers slip, defoaming, and improvement of surface characteristics without hurting intercoat adhesion. Additionally, it offers better hot water resistance than other polyether modified polysiloxanes.

Portaflame® CA 7 grade is produced from carefully selected colemanite, which is a naturally occurring hydrated calcium borate. This light gray powder is odorless and decomposes at 340°C. It is used as a flame retardant for paints, polymers, rubber, and bitumen.

Portalum® A 180 is produced from refractory agglomerated super calcined (RASC) bauxite. The main constituent is the mineral corundum. It enhances abrasion and chemical resistance in coatings, while its high hardness and density are valued in abrasive/friction applications such as brake pads. Sibelco Portalum calcined bauxite (aluminum oxide) is produced from refractory agglomerated super calcined (RASC) bauxite.

AFCONA 2028 is a moderate defoamer that is easy to incorporate. AFCONA 2028 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes.AFCONA 2028 is particularly suitable as a defoamer for curtain coatings and may also be used during production. When foam causes a problem during packaging, AFCONA 2028 may be added slowly while stirring, which will speed up the bubble-breaking process. For this application, AFCONA 2028 is more user-friendly and easier to handle than AFCONA 2022 because it is less sensitive to crater formation and other well-known defoamer side effects.

Crys-Talc® 2H-2HC is a high-brightness, high-purity, platy, coarse talc that is recommended for improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in polymers. It is used in polyethylene, polypropylene, and PVC-based applications with loading levels up to 40% or higher when improved color is critical.

DeCAL 4288 is a low molecular weight carboxylated acrylic copolymer that can carry very high levels of pigment, providing maximum color development properties at these loadings. To obtain the full benefits, it's essential to use the highest possible pigment binder ratios and the highest possible pigment loading of DeCAL 4288. It's common to prepare a neutralized solution using either ammonia or monoethanolamine in formulations where slower drying or better resolubility is required.

Dar-Tech Hauthane HD-2209 is an aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion designed to produce unequaled clarity and gloss. It was designed for wood finishing applications, but it can be used on a wide variety of both rigid and flexible substrates. Use wherever a high level of gloss and clarity is required.

AFCONA 5290 is a 100% solid dispersant created for high-solid systems and formulations that are facing VOC limitations. It is suitable for all solvent-based systems ranging from low to high polarity, including air-dry alkyd. It has very good pigment stability and performance. It gives good viscosity reduction and high color strength. AFCONA 5290 is provided with almost 100% active ingredient; therefore, it is an excellent dispersant for high-solid coatings like polyurethane, epoxy and UV coatings.

AFCONA 6700 is an anti-gel additive for air- drying alkyds and heat-cured coating systems. In air-drying alkyd paints, the ketoxime in AFCONA 6700 forms a protective layer on the surface of the paint to reduce the oxidation caused by oxygen in the air.

AFCONA 7500 is a block polymer with acidic functionality and viscosity depressing properties. It is recommended for use in unsaturated polyester, PVC, epoxy, and polyurethane resin systems. It has excellent viscosity depressing properties in highly filled systems, making it particularly suitable for systems with high filler loads, such as ATH or artificial marble systems. Additionally, AFCONA 7500 is an effective anti-separation additive for LS/LP systems.

AFCONA 3755 is a leveling and flow control agent for solvent-based coatings with very effective defoaming properties. It is a pure polyacrylic leveling agent, designed for applications where leveling and defoaming are both important, such as coil and can coatings. It can also be used in other foam-sensitive systems.

Dar-Tech Hauthane L-3786 is a self-crosslinking, aliphatic, water-based polyurethane dispersion designed for use in high-performance concrete and wood floor coatings. AFCONA 6782 is a conductive agent that can increase the conductivity of coating systems and is extremely important for electrostatic spraying. It is suitable for both non-polar and polar systems. For best results when using AFCONA 6782 in a colorant paint with only white spirit solvent, it should be incorporated with sec-butanol in a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2.
