IMSIL® microcrystalline silica fillers are produced from an inert, naturally occurring alpha quartz with a unique grape-like morphology. Finer micronized grades are useful in formulating higher gloss paints and systems requiring controlled particle top size such as Industrial OEM topcoat coats and non-conductive inks. Intermediate size grades offer ideal and uniform gloss control for topcoats, coil coats and increased inter-coat adhesion between primers and topcoats. Coarser grades offer high solids loading with low viscosity,  texture, anti-skid  and abrasion resistance in industrial floor coatings and exterior deck coatings.

TYTAN™ TAA is a titanium chelate whose alkoxy groups can react with resins to enhance adhesion and/or crosslinking, while the chelating agents stabilize the molecule. TYTAN™ TAA has an exceptional balance between reactivity and crosslinking/adhesion-improvement properties, which makes it highly suitable for significantly enhancing the performance properties of industrial coatings on challenging modern polymeric substrates, glass, and some metals.

DeCAL 2098 is an anionic superplasticizer that has been modified with polyacrylate to achieve maximum efficiency. It is highly suitable for use in mortars, concretes, self-leveling systems, adhesives, and grouts. Compared to conventional plasticizers, DeCAL 2098 has a significantly higher deflocculation effect, which allows it to maintain the dispersed state for longer periods.

DeCAL 4201 is an acrylic binder ideally suited for use in water-based flexographic inks. The product exists as an alkali-soluble carboxylated copolymer emulsion but can also be supplied in its neutralized varnish form as DeCAL 4202. Securoc® B45 is produced from carefully selected, naturally occurring magnesium hydroxide. The standard quality of Securoc® B is guaranteed by means of an ISO 9001-certified quality management plan. The chemical composition of the raw material and the finished product is closely monitored, and particle size is kept within a narrow variation. Securoc® B products are developed as functional halogen-free flame retardant (HFFR) fillers for plastics and rubbers. Their flame retardant activity is primarily due to the endothermic decomposition of metal hydroxide (the heat sink effect) and the simultaneous release of water vapor. This reaction starts at about 300°C. Besides being flame retardant, they also possess a strong smoke-suppressing ability. These flame retardants are used in applications where processing temperatures exceed 200ºC, making ATH unsuitable. Its main uses are in wire and cable compounds, polyolefin roofing membranes, and electrical appliances based on thermoset compounds.

Mistron® CF5A-M is a high-purity engineered talc that has a very low viscosity build, allowing it to be formulated at high loading in low-VOC industrial coatings while maintaining excellent anti-settling properties and superior corrosion resistance. This product is composed of more than 98% talc.

AFCONA 3580 is a silicone-based leveling and anti-crater agent for aqueous coatings that does not influence intercoat adhesion. AFCONA 3580 is an organically modified polysiloxane with very short chain repeatable units of siloxane. These small molecules allow it to move very quickly to an area of defects. This offers very good anti-crater properties without causing intercoat adhesion problems.

Talcoliva TF is a high-purity, platy talc. When added to the olive paste at the mixing stage, Talcoliva TF does the following:

Absorbs the droplets of oil retained in the cell walls, thus forming larger drops and increasing the amount of free oil.
Prevents the formation of emulsions and breaks up emulsions that have already been formed.
Facilitates the break-up of microgels.
Improves the oil extraction yield.
Increases plant production capacity.
Enables the oil-extraction process to be run at a lower temperature (20° - 25°C).
Improves oil clarity during the horizontal centrifugation stage by sweeping the fine particles from the oil ring for removal with the pomace.

It provides reinforcement for improved mechanical properties and imparts hydrophobicity and barrier properties for improved corrosion resistance. It is mainly composed of talc (hydrous magnesium silicate), chlorite, dolomite, and magnesite. The product is odorless and has a white or off-white to light gray color.

This product provides excellent water repellency and has been formulated to have minimal impact on the appearance and feel of the treated materials. DeCAL 2097 is an extremely high efficiency anionic superplasticiser based on polycarboxylate technology. DeCAL 2097 has applications in mortars, concretes, self-levelling systems, adhesives and grouts. DeCAL 2097 has a very high deflocculation effect which allows it to maintain the dispersed state for longer periods as compared to conventional plasticisers.

ACCESS® SFR OH 50,000 is a hydroxyl or silanol functional fluid with a high viscosity of 50,000 cP. This pure fluid is ideal for use as an Anti-Structuring additive in high consistency silicone rubber and for the treatment of fillers. ACCESS® SFR OH 50,000 has excellent stability and can be used with catalytic amounts of ammonium carbonate to treat reinforcing fillers in-situ.

DeCAL 2033 a novel multifunctional acrylic dispersing agent based on new technology - the grade is an ideal problem solving dispersant and is compatible with a wide range of organic and inorganic fillers and pigments utilized in water borne systems. It is a pale brown liquid. DeCAL 2033 can aid stability and prevent the precipitation of a wide variety of mineral salts, including calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminum, zinc, barium and chromium.

DeCAL 2078 is a derivative of a family of highly effective dispersing agents for waterborne systems. The product is a powder grade version of the successful DeCAL 2040 and is especially suited for the dispersion of inorganic pigments. DeCAL 2078 is supplied as the sodium salt form of an acrylic polymer.

ACCESS® B-LS is a highly effective low-foaming silane coupling agent designed to improve the adhesion of coatings, adhesives, and sealants to various substrates. This clear, colorless liquid has a low viscosity, making it easy to add to different types of formulations. It is especially effective in applications where foam control is critical, such as in the production of paints and coatings.

DeCAL 9060 is a precast block water-inducing processing aid. It is used to improve compaction and handling of all dry/semi-dry concrete processes for blocks, paving flags, block pavers and other concrete products. Improved compaction properties also result in reduced machine stress and parts wear.

AFCONA 7202 is mainly recommended for UPE resin systems. It is considered to be a moderately strong defoamer, so it is not suitable for unpigmented or clear systems. Adding AFCONA - 7202 to resin may result in in-can haziness, but this will have a minimal effect on the final gloss and will not affect the other properties of the system.

AFCONA 1103 is a paint additive which is classified and labeled according to the CLP regulation. The product appears as a fluid with a characteristic odor. This product is registered under the Toxic Substances Control Act.

HIFILL® 3 is a ground calcium carbonate filler produced from a uniquely occurring, high-brightness calcite feedstock. HIFILL® grades have exceptional whiteness and are ideally suited for use in brightly colored, contractor-grade trade paints and masonry coatings. Its low oil absorption can help maximize loading levels in either water- or solvent-based systems with only a minimal impact on viscosity.

DeCAL 2110 has excellent wetting and dispersing action coupled with low foam. DeCAL 2110 is intended for wide use in the chemicals industry where a surfactant coupled with low foam is required. DeCAL 2110 can be used in combination with other surfactants irrespective of charge. It is a clear liquid.
